We had the fajita pizza. It was okay. Not saucy enough. Maybe some fresh salsa on top once it’s done cooking would be good. The atmosphere is fun and busy. I hear the fish tacos are the bomb but we didn’t try those. Maybe next cruise.

Came in for dinner before our cruise the next day. The food was great ! I had the fish taco platter dish with rice n beans, plantains. Awesome! My wife had a fajita burrito which was great. The kids had a shrimp bowl and a steak pizza. I didn’t try their dishes but they both really liked them. The atmosphere was totally family friendly yet if you wanted a place to go drink and chill you could do that as well. We also ordered the conch fritters. They were really good. If your in cocoa beach this is a must try !! I’d go there again if we were back.

Liked the place, but service was mediocre at best as well as the food. We had mostly appetizers — Quesadillas, Alligator bites(very dry), conch fritters($ 9 for four small patty like fritters) usually conch fritters are made in a ball like hush puppy form. You got little for your dollar. Chicken tacos were OK as well as fish dip. Our waitress was not happy — no service with a smile here.

The fries were good. I’ve never complained about a burger but I must say. I was excited to have a pizza burger. All I could taste was burnt meat when I asked for it to be cooked medium(in her questioning how I would like it prepared). My boyfriend tried a bite to see if he would eat it later and his response was, «I’m surprised you ate as much of that as you did.» So I didn’t feel bad throwing it away. I save food all the time and eat it later. This was a first. He paid for the upgrade for onion rings and unfortunately neither of us liked those either as there really was no flavor. He ordered the island burger but meant to order the burger in paradise so no review on taste there. Summed up, I hate to say we weren’t impressed. I was reading reviews after we ordered and I should have gotten the fish tacos(he doesn’t eat fish). Some may ask, «why didn’t you say something?» Well, to answer that question, we had taken our order to-go to eat on the beach. Hopefully others have a better experience.

Great local place in beach. Second time in two days we have been here. 5 star service for sure. Blackened fish taco were excellent as well as the ground beef. For sure add the guacamole! Also try the cheese dip for an appetizer. True Mexican cheese dip! We also tried the category 4 hurricanes! Perfect beachside drink. Lots of frozen drink selection. We added a floater to the frozen drinks and they were perfect to go for the beach. The meat pizza is huge a great for leftovers in the hotel room. We are here for 3 more days and will for sure be back, especially for the fun music and dancing for happy hour!

Best blackened fish tacos I have ever eaten. Very fun bar that has great food for a great price. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that if you are not a local that the bartenders know you have to just about beg to get service.

Best fish tacos on Cocoa Beach! Good service and a very laid back vibe. Will definitely return on our next trip!

Not a fan of noisy sports bars but for half price tacos and domestic draft on Tuesdays, sure, we’ll endure ambiance. So happens they had a fellow playing darned good guitar. The beer cups were sizable. The fish taco didn’t impress. OK. The Carne Asada taco was outstanding. Seasoned ground beef is decent. The wait staff were all pleasant. On Taco Tuesdays despite plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, it’s hard to find a seat.

Fish tacos! It’s all I ever eat here because I’m convinced nothing could taste better on the menu. They are delicious. I don’t even mind that I’m eating outside, adjacent to the parking lot, while the musician’s amp parts my hair and the cars drive by stirring the parking lot dust. I pound the food anyway. Love this place. WARNING: Get a bicycle or a DD if you going to drink the Huricannes, these recall the New Orleans namesake and the category 5 may just take the legs out from under you.

Delicious food, excellent service. Burritos, tacos, nachos… all delightful. We stopped in for lunch with a group, there was another group just a few mins later, the food was quick, server very attentive.

Came here for a late lunch on a cloudy rainy day in early December. I came with my husband and his coworkers, who had been here many times before. I had a blackened and a grilled mahi taco. By far the blackened as superior. Tried alligator for the first time, it was moist and not chewy served with a spicy sauce. Good beer tap selection. Service was good, specially since we were in a larger group(8). I would definitely go back

Very scrappy Someone turned off the sound of the NFL game at 9 pm to play the jukebox. And there are feet vs where you can actually see games.

After consulting Unilocal we decided on Sandbar for dinner. We ordered the conch fritters and it was all breading, mediocre at best. I got a cat 5 hurricane which was value and delicious. Other party guests got a vodka soda and it was awful. For an entrée I got their famous fish tacos… meh. Not sure why they are famous. Barely any fish. My other half got a chicken chopped salad and it was not good. Furthermore, clearly she ate two bites and said it wasn’t good and it was just whisked away and our server didn’t address it at all. She seemed a pretty face and that’s it. Side note, television and atmosphere were really good. There are better good choices for sure. The biggest disappointment were the mediocre tacos.

This was our last stop on the way back to the hotel and it was awesome. It had all the best parts of hanging out at a bar. 1. Great food. The fish tacos are slammin’. I have dreamed about them since, and I make a pretty mean fish taco at home myself. 2. Awesome service. The bartender(I wish I could remember her name) was super fun and was on top of all the orders. 3. Outdoor patio where you could hear the ocean. 4. The sports thing was going on but it wasn’t super overwhelming even though it was Monday night football. 5. Dollar margaritas, other drink and food specials, and a pretty reasonable bill at the end of the night. 6. Solid regulars who were entertaining, and made us change our mind from having one drink and some food to consuming… well… a lot. This was a great place to celebrate our last night in Cocoa Beach, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

Place is always busy and usually a hot spot for tourists to stop. 40+ and older crowd really likes this spot as well, bands play a ton of music from their generation. No complaints there. We usually go for the baja fish tacos, which can be a hit or a miss. Sometimes there’s not enough fish and too much of everything else. Gator tail is good too, with the occasional fatty bit. As for the drinks, the hurricane category 5 is what this place is known for. Great drink, depending on who makes it. It can turn into this sweet sour all mixer taste or it can be a real drink where you only need one. Yo is the best bartender and a real character if you ever stop here. Also not a bad place for live entertainment. A wide variety of great sounding bands and Friday night is reggae night. Place can also be 21 and up some events as well.

Very disappointed with this place! By looking at advertisements along 520 one would assume you were going to be on the beach! Not true– your view is a parking lot looking at stairs that take you to a boardwalk. No beach, no sand in your toes. The food was another story. First ordered the Gator Tail for $ 10.99. Very dry and tasteless. Ate them anyway as I was starving! Had the Mahi Reuben. Horrible! The Mahi was dry and tasted lije it had been frozen and freezer burned! The onion rings were not made fresh! The waitress was very nice however. Will not recommend this place for food. Beer from tap, maybe(my beer was not very cold). Over priced and underwhelmed!

This place is just a short walk from beach. Ordered a couple drinks and the Mahi wrap and it was very good. I nice portion of fish wrapped in a flour tortilla with salsa. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. In the evening the have live music

Best place we ate the whole trip. We accidentally came during taco tuesday and we loved all the tacos we ate. My husband had the gator tacos and those were the best. The drinks, however, were awful. I took notes from other reviewers and tried a category 4 hurricane, it was so disgusting! I love me a good fruity cocktail but no part of that was fruity or sweet. I gave it to someone else.

We visited twice, once for lunch and again for a night cap. Daytime service was friendly and excellent. Pizza was pretty good. Garlic buttery crust, fresh cheese and size able slice. My husband had the chicken tacos and loved them! They were huge and delicious. He’s a taco snob and was very happy. Drinks were pretty generous and beers were cold. Beware sitting outside on windy days when it’s overcast. Apparently the sand fleas are awful. We got attacked through no fault of the server. We returned for drinks. Crowd was fun and rowdy. Lots of young and older mixture. Music was lively and diverse tropical rock. Good stuff!

I really like this place. Situated right in the parking lot between the A1A and Cocoa Beach, it’s a great spot to eat and/or have drinks. I’ve been here numerous times throughout the years and now living back here in Orlando I’ve been able to go even more. The place seems to always be busy with what feels like a mix between locals and the the obvious tourists that come down to Cocoa Beach. I’ve been here on nights where it’s extremely packed and it was very fun. Great music, good crowd, stiff and reasonably priced drinks and good food. I just recently had the ground beef tacos at lunch and they were amazing. They also do a special for locals on football Sunday’s with beer and chicken wings for some nominal fee at the beginning of the the football season. The afternoons here are fun. It’s a great spot to break away from the beach for a bit, get some shade and have a beer or food. The bartenders are always friendly and the wait staff are prompt. If you are in the area this is the place to check out.
