I could not believe the wings at this place. It is a nice little restaurant/sports bar. Normally you don’t order wings at a barbecue place, but these were outstanding. I had the hot buffalo wings and I think they smoke the wings and then give them a quick fry and saucing, because these were meaty, tender and full of flavor while having a perfectly crisped skin on the outside. Not you typical chicken wing.

Went there Sunday for dinner and it was fantastic. Great food, atmosphere and service. I got The Hog with a side of Mac /Cheese and it was great.

This place is awesome! Today was the first time I’ve ever been and I fell in love! My sweet tea was humongous and was perfect! Not too sweet not too bitter. The garden salad was so fresh! My friend had the bbq beef sandwich and it was tasty! The meat melted in your mouth. The staff was also very friendly. Will come back again! :)

Arguably the best BBQ in Brevard. The food here is consistently good. It just seems they have trouble getting good help. The outside patio is a nice place for drinks or a meal. Today, however we must have sat in the«no waitress zone». After waiting a while, I walked up to the bar to get our drinks. The bartender looked at me a few times and continued what he was doing while the waitress sat at the end of the bar. I HATETHAT! Just acknowledge my existence. After returning to the table, we decided to go inside. Drinks and food were a little slow arriving and the waitress was very scarce. The food kind of balanced out the poor service though. I think I’ll stick with Woody’s in Melbourne.

I came to this place once before and thought it was pretty good. Tonight I drove 30 min to come here… arrived at 11pm Friday night(posted hours are 11am-12am) they were closed. This is a huge pet peeve of mine, think it’s poor business practice. I may/may not return, we shall see.

We just finished a day at the beach and heard this place was good. Well… The service was nice but extremely slow, I almost got up to ask if we had a waitress, and it wasn’t that busy. I ordered the turkey with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. It was pretty good, I had to add a lot of sauce. The chipotle sauce was very good! My boyfriend got the beef with mashed potatoes and a salad. He enjoyed the mashed potatoes as well but the beef was EXTREMELY undercooked! He didn’t finish it and ordered some wings because he was still hungry. We have been to many BBQ spots in Nashville, Memphis and other BBQ based cities and this one fell extremely short. If you have plenty of time then try it out.

Came to Cocoa Beach to watch the Falcon V rocket launch on 3÷22÷16. Was looking for something to eat and came across Slow and Low. We were sat immediately and the servers were very attentive and nice. The food came out quickly and was all very good. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food given. The Ribs were seasoned well and had the perfect tenderness. The brisket was very moist and tender. I rarely find Barbecue Chicken that is worth mentioning but the chicken here at slow and low was good enough to come back for by itself. The sides were excellent, the baked beans had a good amount of meat and weren’t overly sweet, the turnip greens were very good and properly cleaned with stems removed, the corn muffins were moist and flavorful. The sauce were very good, again not overly sweet and had a good variety, I found the mustard sauce to be excellent.

Truly some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had, and yes I do know barbecue very very very well. I’ve been frequenting this establishment for years. My personal favorite, the brisket is especially tender and moist. A beautiful location across from the beach. I can’t think of a better location for a cold beer, a great beach atmosphere, and some exquisite food. Cheers Friends.

Great place. Ordered a couple of Florida lagers at the bar waiting for our take out order. Bartender couldn’t have been nicer. Friendly atmosphere all around. Ribs were cooked to perfection. Didn’t need any sauce. BBQ sampler was great with the sauces. The only problem with the pulled pork was that we wanted more! The sides were fantastic too. We’ve already recommended S&L to other people in our building. We will be back. A «must» when you’re visiting Cocoa Beach! You’ve got to check this place out!

Super yum! Stopped in for dinner and we’re glad we came! Chaz, our server, was super nice and took great care of us. We ordered the Low down and dirty as well as Joe’s Crazy Pork Sandwich. Both were messy and delicious! For dessert we got the Fried Banana Sunday — definitely a dessert to share! If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll be eating here again!

Uniformly poor bbq Ribs had no texture, no flavor and were meat mush. Even the rib bones splintered from being over cooked. My wife had pulled pork, very stringy and too chewy. The sides were bbq beans, which were barely warm and fries, which were seasoned curly fries, not regular fries. Why don’t they describe them accurately? Probably a good place for a drink but the food is sadly regrettable.

Wow! I ate at «slow and low» for the first time today! Amazing barbecue pulled pork so tender and great flavor! You don’t even need the barbecue sauce even though the sweet barbecue sauce is phenomenal! Also the baked beans and coleslaw were Yum!!! This place would make a turkey strut backwards and a rabbit stand up and fight a dog! I will definitely be back! Nicole and the staff were amazing as well.

11−20−15. Evening meal. Food was so-so. Service was iffy. Drinks were ordered for two of us. It took three tries to get it right. Our food was ordered first, in our group, but delivered last. Ribs were dry. Pork was plain. Sauce was typical. Took FOREVER to get the check. Then Cassandra took it back and over charged us an extra $ 20 dinner. I pointed out the error. It took FOREVER to get it corrected. Then I noticed an extra charge for Mac and Cheese. The meal came with two sides and that was one of them. I was told it was extra. That was not pointed out at time of order. I didn’t argue. I just wanted out hours ago. But boxed Mac and Cheese wasn’t worth the uncharged. The rum and cola was ridiculously priced also. Unfortunately the server ends up losing in this case. Neither I nor my wife intend to eat here ever again.

We pulled into this place on a whim, cruising around on our last night in Cocoa Beach. So glad that we did! The waitstaff was very friendly and the atmosphere was child friendly(they were smart enough to seat us in the big room away from single diners). The menu prices are very fair and the portion sizes were good. I ordered the pulled pork(their specialty) with a side of their stew and mashed potatoes. The pork was an excellent blend of smokiness and spice that was cooked to perfection. This is some seriously good barbecue! They also offer an assortment of barbecue sauces that compliment it well(they’re not exactly necessary). The stew was very tasty blend of pork, corn, lima beans and potatoes. It had a nice kick that wasn’t too spicy. The mashed potatoes were homemade and, though delicious, they were pretty average compared to the rest of my meal. Overall my meal was excellent. I’ll definitely be making a trip back whenever I’m in the area again.

What a great spot for food BBQ at the beach! I have heard about Slow and Low from the radio, SBK in particular years ago, and finally made the trip to check it out one day. My boyfriend and I both walked away full and happy! I’ll be back on my next Cocoa trip for sure.

We vacation in Cocoa Beach every two years and religiously stop here a few times throughout the course of the week. I’ve had a little bit of everything so it’s hard to provide a favorite. The ribs are amazing! My sister’s go-to is the southwest burger. The combo is awesome because it’s a nice«little» sampler. You can’t go wrong with the appetizers! We’ve had fried jalapenos, coconut shrimp(omigawd!), onion rings, wings, and fried pickle chips. The jalapenos and onion rings are always a must for us. This place is definitely one of the things we really look forward to while vacationing, so much that we talk about it throughout our 12+ hour car ride down!

This place crushes it! Used to be that the only smoked ribbs I like are the ones I make myself. With my tail happily between my legs I will confess I have been defeated. Hats Off to slow and low.

I can only write a review for the take-out experience. But on our last day in Cocoa Beach, I had yet to act on a tip from a friend in PA, who insisted that I try Slow and Low. Since today would be my last option to grab take out, Slow and Low it was. Upon the barmaid’s suggestion, I tried the«Hog» sandwich, or something like that. Cheddar, bacon, and yes, pork BBQ. Absolutely fantastic. Two different sauces were sent home with me, and if I could dunk my chair in them, I would. Outta this world. Price for the sandwich and a side of vinegar cole slaw(yikes, good, but spicy) was $ 11 and change. Only regret is that it won’t be until our return trip in 2016 that I’ll have a chance to spend more time with the menu!

I try not to be a reactive reviewer so I waited a week to write this thinking I could somehow review this place and make the point tactfully. This restaurant has lots of potential and after reading a lot of the reviews«inconsistent» probably is a good description. Pros– Smoke flavor through and though All the meat was moist and fall off the bone tender Beautiful setting and great location Service was okay Plenty of seating Cons– I should have had more to say about the food it was just average We were seated in the hallway between the bar and the restaurant it was hot The bathroom needs to be checked and cleaned more often than it is now I had the combination platter I didn’t realize how small a two ounce serving of anything is I thought the portions were kids size with a grown up price There are better BBQ options in the area.
