Planet Fitness – Coconut Creek

I’m a former YouFit gym member and left because of a rude employee but enough about them.
Awesome front desk staff! The male me feel welcome. Bri and Matt are usually doing a shift change when I arrive.

I wanted to pay in full for the year and they said they would only sign me up if I did auto pay through my checking account. Sorry I have had too many bad experiences with comcast doing that. The guy own the phone was rude.

For the last few years I was using a local «municipal gym». It wasn’t adequate. I kept hoping they’d get a Smith Machine or a bench press, but they only seemed to cater to the frail and elderly. (Wynmoor is across the street.)
Anyway, I decided to join Planet Fitness because the site is brand new and it’s the biggest gym I’ve ever been in.
All the equipment is state of the art and geared toward an efficient and targeted workout.
I can’t describe how big it is other than to say they have 18 flat screen TVs.
The restrooms are beautiful, …really.
What I appreciate the most about this place is an atmosphere of anonymity. People come, do their own thing, and they leave you alone.
My god what a pleasure.
I don’t want to talk to strangers about my workout, and especially don’t want to hear about theirs.
Place is super clean. People are cleaning all the time and there’s antibacterial spray and paper towels at every turn.
I’m a gym rat and my daily workout is a personal sojourn which I enjoy.

Clean, lots of machines to chose from and more than enough weights. Has everything you can ask for!

Worst customer service ever, after getting thousands of postcards to my mail i decided to join the gym, the guy on the front desk was so not in the mood to work seems like, he refused to sign me up because I wanted my payment method to be a card not a checking and routing, from experience I never ever give out a checking account to gyms, they rip you of without even knowing. So disappointed! !

Perfect! 10 bucks a month gets you a really big gym, that’s open ²⁴⁄₇. They keep the gym and the equipment clean which is a major plus. With how big the place is, even if there is alot of people it doesn’t get to crowded, and there are so many machines that what you want, will always be available.

I signed up for this gym about three weeks before it opened, I got to admit I was pretty excited due to the fact I am new to the area, and I happened to be looking for a new gym. Started today, did a brief walk around to orientate myself, tried out a few machines, and tried out the hydromassage bed. Loved it!!! The gym has everything I need, now with that in mind I’m not a huge bodybuilder, I’m a petite woman who just likes to keep toned and stay in shape. It actually has more than enough machines for me. It’s a Wednesday and I went at 6:30pm, and it was not packed then again the gym is new so that may change. Personnel was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable, most places that open up a new location seem to lack educating personnel, but I did not get that impression here at all! Very stoked they opened this location.
