Excellent selection of micro brew beers in bottle and on tap. Inside is often loud but outside is wonderful if you can get a table. Service is hit and miss. The food is decent also.

I usually love going to WOB, but this time I was severely disappointed. I went to Beerunch with two friends this Sunday. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich; they both ordered waffles. The food came out fairly quickly, but then I realized my friends weren’t eating because they didn’t have silverware. After waiting a few minutes, I got up and asked one of the servers if we could have some silverware and she told me they ran out but that she’d see what was going on. My friends waited 10 more minutes and ended up eating waffles with their HANDS. We managed to get napkins, but never received forks and we were there for probably an hour at least. 1pm on a Sunday and you have no forks for an entire hour?

Had heard lots of good things about this place and ventured in on a Monday for Trivia Night with a group of friends. We had it planned to come at the perfect moment: Trivia starts at 7PM, and Happy Hour goes until 7PM — therefore, come at 6:45PM, take advantage of some awesome deals, then stay and kick ass at trivia. Apparently, lots of other people had the same idea, because the place was pretty packed. I got a Barrel of Monks White Wheat 12oz draft for $ 4, and a Margarita flatbread for $ 5. On Mondays, this location also offers $ 5 burgers with fries — awesome deal! They typically run $ 9.50. Nick ordered that(good choice). A couple of small things kept this experience from being as awesome as I would have wanted. The server got confused and brought us an extra beer that we didn’t order, and later forgot a second different brew down the table. Food took around 45 minutes to come(which feels like torture when you’re starving). I regret not getting the burger because the flatbread was sort of lackluster — small, sort of hard, like it’d been sitting under the heaters for a hot minute. There was also some confusion(my fault) because the menu said«regular» flatbread, which I assumed to mean the bigger size(half vs. regular, no?). Turns out it’s «regular» or «whole» for the flatbread sizes, so it came out a LOT smaller than I thought it would. =-(My fault, I should have looked more at the regular menu, but still sort of a let down. Finally, the trivia guy was hard to hear! The guy had a microphone and everything but I had to lip read to try to get the details. I had a couple bites of the burger, though, which was super juicy and good! I’d probably go back for that. Overall, maybe slightly disappointing. I get it — it was a pretty crowded night and there’s only so much a server can do. I’ve worked as a server, and empathize more than this girl probably knew. But at the end of the night, it was sort of rough.

We ordered the following: chicken tacos-Must have, Tuscan hummus– crackers that went with them We’re Wayyy too salty, flatbread– must have, Mac and cheese– not so great(no cheesy enough nor tasty). We also had the Fresca margaritas which in my opinion were amazing. Overall great experience on s Friday night. Oh yea they also have live music.

Stopped in to check out their Beerunch on a Sunday morning. The place was busy but not packed so I was able to sit at the bar. The beertender came over right away to take my drink order. I had the Shiner Prickly Pear which was very refreshing. It’s an ale with hints citrus. For food I ordered the Breakfast Tacos. Flour tortillas filled with pepper jack scrambled eggs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, jalapeño peppers and onions and served with tots. They didn’t skimp on the filling and they were tasty. It’s located in a nice shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants and close to the parking garage. Huge beer selection and a good food menu. They also serve cocktails, wine and shots for the non-beer drinkers.

We cane in a Friday night for a drink… it was packed! Considering this… i must have gotten the BEST service ive ever gotten at a bar. Everyone was friendly AND patient… i had like 6 different people ask me if i needed another or if i had any questions on any of their drinks or about food. Wolfy(i hope thats how u spell it) was awesome and let me know that the fruit they usually put in their peach sangria were out so he threw a bunch of other fruit in there for me… not to mention that everyone here is pretty attractive and diverse! LOVEDIT would totally go here again!

So excited to be eating at World of Beer I haven’t tried any of their food yet and I had some time to kill while I was waiting for my cake across the way to be finished. I can never seem to get it together enough to make it to Sunday brunch and I’ve been wanting to try their food for a long time. I didn’t want anything too heavy so I decided on the street tacos they have two different sizes two for seven and 3 for 10.00. I chose the crispy chicken with ranch and the ahi tuna which is raw. The chicken taco was amazing the ranch dressing was a little spicy and the crispy chicken in the taco was fantastic. The ahi tuna taco didn’t really have any significant taste only the Sriracha aioli stood out in this taco. kinda disappointing and although there was fresh peach in it this wasn’t one of my favorite tacos. Definitely fine for a quick waitress was a sweetheart and never charged me for my iced tea. Thanks so much for that and for the quick bite! I want to try the waffles and chicken next!

Great family atmosphere. Great music and wonderful service. The food is delicious. The World of Beer was amazing. Great size. The 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese was good but not filling enough. The Chicken and Waffles sandwich was to die for. The bourbon syrup was delish. Not too overpowering. The Belgium waffles were ok. A little hard I guess it sat waiting for the rest of the food. A++ Happy Eating

Jennifer gets an A+ for setting up the Ladies do Lunch event one Sunday-over 25 girls showed! It was an awesome UYE to explore one of the time honored traditions of SoFla-brunching. One thing that is a little odd to me about having brunch at a beer place is «beerunch», where you can have beer in addition to your OJ as your mimosa. The brunch deal that this place offers is killer-$ 20 for unlimited mimosa and other brunch cocktails, and a selection of about 8 brunch items with several options for upgrade. Almost all of us had mimosas, and one of the girls in our party is oddly allergic to OJ, so she asked for pineapple instead of orange juice in her drinks. The juice looked oddly similar at first and tasted similar to all the rest of us, so one of the waitresses was a doll and brought her a different shaped glass and poured her the pineapple straight from the can so she would feel better. That was worth her tip. However-the other waitress working with her was slow and mixed up almost everything and everyone’s drinks constantly. I know they were splitting tips so I tried to not be harsh. I had some type of southwestern egg omelet on english muffin with tater tots, covered in sriracha. It wasn’t overly spicy-it had just enough kick but was a LOT of food. It was necessary to soak in some of the booze. Other girls tried the chicken and waffles, others had the pancakes, and all were genuinely impressed. Nothing special to knock your socks off, but good hearty brunch food for sure. This place is in the middle of the Promenade-in a midst of a bunch of stores you could get into TROUBLE with after a few too many drinks, so be careful: P After girls brunch, it could turn to girls’ shopping day if so inclined…

Who would have thought that World of Beer serves beerunch? If it wasn’t for the lovely Jenn S., I would have been still clueless about it. The pub is located in the Promenade of Coconut Creek and it has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was more than accommodating with the group of 25 or so ladies we had in our group and we were able to sit inside on the back side of the restaurant. They probably have whatever beer you want on tap and there was live music that was playing outside that we didn’t hear much of from the inside. The welcoming vibe and relaxing atmosphere made it a fun brunch for all of us to enjoy! You can get unlimited mimosas, Beermosas(beer with OJ), or Bloody Mary’s paired with a breakfast item for 20 bucks. It’s hard to beat that since most places charge 10 or 15 dollars for the unlimited booze just alone. There was plenty of those pretty drinks that were flowing all throughout the place. I went for the Belgium beer waffles with fresh strawberries topped with powered sugar and whipped cream along with a side of maple bourbon syrup. It was enjoyed more with each bite I took. The waffles were perfectly cooked and it was lightly sweet. I didn’t have the fullness filling during halfway through the meal, which was a great thing since I wanted to finish all of it. Each plate was presented beautifully to each of us and the staff did an awesome job with keeping our tabs separate. They actually took our card when we placed our order and gave it back to us to where we didn’t have to give it back to them at the end. Our waitress remained calm and she didn’t rush our orders with us. There were a couple servers that was going around for the big group of us and they were great with bringing the drinks and food out within a reasonable amount of time. If you’re not in the mood for brunch, you’re more than welcome to go and try out the other menu items they offer as well as the beers, cocktails, and wines. Thanks Jennifer for inviting all of us out to have brunch on a lovely Sunday afternoon. We heart you!

For my 500th review brunch at World of Beers aka WOB in Coconut Creek Promenade. Thank you Jenn S for making this Unofficial ladies Unilocal Event at WOB, I didn’t know they started serving food, and they have a great brunch! There’s parking on the curbside and a few indoor garages that are a short walk, plentiful, and free. The Promanade is off Sample rd, north on Lyons has a bunch of little shops, and restaurants. WOB has so many beers in the fridges, and beers on tap. They used to order take out at nearby restaurants for food but NOW they have a great menu. Here’s the deal, unlimited Beermosas, yes beer with Orange juice, and it’s soooo tasty! :-), Mimosas, or Titos vodka Bloody Mary’s AND a Brunch item for 20 $! OR if you want just an item a la carte, Mimosas are 2 $ a pop –great specials 11am– 2:30pm There’s outside seating with outdoor furniture looks inviting and it’s packed at brunch. There one was just a bar and tables when this place opened, now there’s a renovated restaurant with full kitchen pumping out the food items as fast as they get them. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It comes with bacon jam inside, ketchup & maple syrup on the side, and generous portion of tater tots, which are unbelievably crispy. The chicken wasn’t thick or juicy — but thin, lightly breaded, fried strips of chicken. The waitress said the chicken pieces vary. It was a tasty meal, not the best I’ve had.: If there was seasoning on the chicken breading: if the waffle was savoury with herbs and cheese, or had bacon cooked in it, now you’re talking. My friend had the crab cakes eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I tried it, the seasoning was lovely, generous crab, not drowned in breading, yummy hollandaise and same generous serving of crispy tater tots. The waitresses did a great job and kept our drinks flowing and on separate tabs. The food presentation is nice and metal trays give Green vibe. The kitchen was sending out food as fast as it was made, and not waiting for the table to all get the food at once. I guess it’s good if your hungry and your food comes out fast. Up side is the food is hot and fresh. Maybe this food system was an exeption for our party of 25+? There was live music outside that I barely heard, but great if you sit outside. The ambiance inside was inviting and we all had such a great time at ladies brunch! I hear the St Patrick’s day party goes all week starting this Thursday. Thanks Patty W for giving me the details if the event, I would’ve known without you! Nice to see all the beautiful ladies hope to see everyone at burstday!

World of Beer in Coconut Creek is one of the more popular places to hang out in the Promenade. It has indoor and outdoor seating, its pet friendly and they always have a large selection of beers on tap. The staff has always been friendly to me and I hear they throw a killer St. Patrick’s Day Party(note to self to check it out this year!). It’s really big inside and I really enjoy coming here to hang-out with friends. They also recently started serving brunch which I have been to about 3 – 4 times now and I absolutely love it! They have the BEST brunch deal around! They offer a Bottomless Booze Brunch which is only $ 20 and you get unlimited Mimosas, Beermosas, or Bloody Mary’s(you can mix and match btw too) and 1 breakfast item! It’s such an awesome deal! The waitress I have had during brunch have always been so great and kept our drinks full and always had a fun inviting attitude. And yes a beermosa is actually pretty good! The Food — We have tried a lot so I will list everything individually. For an extra $ 5 you can get the Crab Cake Benedict which I did on my first visit. I highly recommend it as well. It was really good and the crab cake was made perfectly. Not mushy or full of filling there was actually crab in it unlike many places who can mess that part up. Blueberry French Toast is really good and the blueberry compote with maple-bourbon syrup is the great! Ancho-Chipotle Bacon and Egg Sandwich, this was great my roommate got it with the ancho-chipotle sauce on the side cause she was worried it would be too spicy but it wasn’t at all but if you are sensitive to heat I would recommend doing the same. It came with a side of tots which are always cooked perfectly. Breakfast Tacos — You can get 2 or 3 tacos and I am used to getting tiny tacos and ordered 3 but I highly recommend only getting 2 because these tacos were HUGE. They are stuffed full of eggs, pepper jack cheese, peppers and other yummy items and I was barely able to finish 2 of them. I got a side of the ancho-chipotle sauce cause I love spicy and it went great with the tacos. Tots come with this as well. Grilled 3 Cheese sandwich is really good but my friend doesn’t like Swiss so she just gets extra American cheese. It also has caramelized onions and bacon on it. Highly recommend this as well. She got tots with this and a side of the beer cheese sauce to dip them in. I also recommend doing that it’s a delicious combo! Hangover Skillet — this is truly a perfect thing to order for a hangover cause it has everything in it in one big bowl. Scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, jalapeño, cheddar sausage, candied bacon, and pepper jack cheese all piled on top of tater tots with a side of Texas toast. I couldn’t finish it but I did pretty good. Get some additional beer cheese sauce for this too… you might as well at this point calorie wise lol and its soooo damn good! Guinness Brat Sliders are also really good as well. Not really a breakfast item but we have ordered them before and we really like them a lot. I really love this place for brunch and it’s never over crowded on a Sunday so I guess the secret isn’t out yet. You can’t beat the deal and the food or service. Plus you could roll over to the movie theater after to sober up before the ride home or just shop in the Promenade for a bit.

Great choices for even someone like me who isn’t a big beer drinker. I got a flight of meads, ciders and lambic. The raspberry lambic was delicious but the others were kinda bland or watery. I didn’t have any food but I saw a bunch of dishes go by which looked pretty good. They had live music and the singer was fantastic. She sang all the older songs I have on my iPod. :) Great place to grab a drink while you wait for your table at a nearby restaurant. This place kinda smelled funny. Like an old wet dish rag…

Good times good people good vibes ;) When you’re drunk this place is great but to get there, it’s filled with slit disappointments. Normally they have the big book of beer. Nope not anymore. A pitiful two sides menu is what they hand you. Unless you download the app which can pull up all the beer and you can see what they do and do not have. But seriously? Why can’t I just have my book back -.- Out waitress didn’t know to much of the selections she always had to go check if it was there bc she«never heard of that name» listen here missy. I ordered a blueberry wheat a beyond common one, and you’ve never heard of it?! *face palm* but besides that nonsense. The music was great! From rock to hip hop to salsa. We got lucky and got the only day of winter Florida has ever seen so the night we spent was chilly and cold and sitting outside never seemed like a better idea! Which made for a great first time. They also added a food menu and I wasn’t disappointed keep in mind beer is so filling, well in my opinion at least. So they have finger foods to pair w good beer. My choosing a were fruity Blue berry wheat Green apple And Mango, Apricot with a hoppy taste Once you download the app you get great unlimited options. So high suggest doing so!

The service here even on a Tuesday night is horrendous. Our server forgot our order, brought out the wrong thing, didn’t try to fix it, proceeded to not come check on us. I had a Margarita flatbread which was pretty good. But she brought out the sausage arugula one first which is not what I ordered but she could’ve mistaken what My friend ordered, the flat iron steak sandwich, as that. Cause the steak sandwich took over 20 minutes to come out after we ordered it and the restaurant wasn’t busy. The brat sliders were dry and not very good. The spring greens and kale salad was fresh and mixed well but don’t expect a lot of dressing, there was barely any. The tater tots here are amazing. Perfectly crispy on the inside and still soft on the inside. The Belgian waffle smores desert was very very sweet but very good. It’s a must share dish for me cause I can only have one bite of it but the fluffy mash mellow fluff makes it worth it.

Now serving liquor and food. FYI, this review is based off of brunch only. Started off with a couple of mimosas and the German pretzel with a house made beer cheese. The pretzel is a giant, baked soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and salted. Came with a stone ground mustard, cheese was extra. For the main she got the breakfast tacos minus jalapeños. Grilled tortillas filled with pepperjack, eggs, spicy sausage, peppers, and onions. Topped with corn and salsa. I went with the crab cake Benedict. Two English muffin halves, baked crab cake, and hollandaise sauce. Also came with tots. Everything came out alright, I’m sure it would’ve been better after a few drinks. I’m betting lunch is better.

If you want to drink a certain kind of beer, WOB will have that type on tap. If you are looking for a specific beer, they will have on tap or bottle. The hardest part of drinking the beer you want is getting a server to take your order. Fighting your way up to order from bar is no easier when they are busy. It is an open air kind of place. But at happy hour times both the outdoor and some indoor seats are in direct sun. Uh… we live in Florida, so that means hot and no real AC since all doors open. Good place for drinking beer, but since no food, tough to drink too many.
