I can’t express how great Misty and Debbie made the planning process. I know how much wedding costs add up, and (to future brides) your venue probably comes with a ‘day of coordinator’ so you don’t want to splurge on a planner… but a wedding planner is completely different, I promise. After experiencing what having this amazing planning team is like, I can assure you a splurge isn’t what this is, but a necessity. Everyone has commented on how seamless and smooth our wedding day was, and how easy and fun and laid back everyone seemed. Well, that’s because we were. Truly, the biggest decision I had to make on my wedding day was whether I wanted wine or champagne. Misty and Debbie were both irreplaceable during the planning process by first listing what ‘big things’ to tackle, then narrowing it to an every few weeks meeting to handle the small things once the date got closer.
There are so many little things that you think about, then forget about again until months after. A lot of brides end up stressing because they are ordering bridesmaids gifts two weeks before and don’t want to spend any more money, or whatever, well that doesn’t happen with an organized and amazing wedding planning team. You have those small details taken care of way before you think it’s necessary, so by the time the wedding date gets closer all you’re doing is trying to choose what nail color you want: P!
On the day of our wedding my bridesmaids and I arrived at the venue at 1:00 and the guys at 2:00, of course all the men had deciding they were starving by then. My sister (MOH) called Misty and when we got to the venue Debbie had already sent some of the awesome girls on their team out to the store to pick up food for the wedding party. There were so many of those little (and big!) things they did above and beyond, and I know without a doubt that our wedding wouldn’t have felt as relaxed and easy without Cameo keeping it all running on a very regulated time line, without the guests even realizing it. The only thing they knew was that they were having an awesome time with a very relaxed bride and groom!
I have no idea if anything went wrong on my wedding day. From what I know and what everyone has said, it was completely perfect. If anything stressful happened, it was fixed and dealt with and doesn’t even exist in my little bridal word. Brides, we spend so much time and money on this one amazing day. And after it’s over, the worst feeling you’ll have is one where you look back and realized you were stressed all day. Do yourself a favor and budget the (very affordable) cost of Misty and Cameo Events to make sure the day you just spent a year planning is as perfect as you deserve.
