Their mini corn dogs are more like meatballs in batter. French fries were sweeter than expected… like sweet with sugar. Not impressed, won’t be back.

Cool pub food atmosphere. I came for dinner and to watch a game with friends. Great service. Good food. I loved the thin fries – great seasoning. I had the«ridiculous burger». Not sure if it’s a special or regular item. It was good, though. Definitely unique, which I appreciate. I love unique and good. Unique touches on the burger included cilantro and fried octopus. Pretty tasty. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Bump up for the uniqueness of the burger and good service. It was a bit pricey – 15 $ or so for the burger. But worth it. I will return.

I was in Coeur d’alene for a meeting one afternoon and stumbled across this place. Incredible pub style food and beer. The service on top of it was incredible! If you are ever in this small town vacationing or passing through like I was, you must stop by this place!

It is all good! I don’t like hot spicy things and there is plenty of that, but there is also a lot of good food that depends on a balance of flavors that really work. The chef at Paragon has also worked at Fleur de Sel and he is not just a Cook! He has has real talent! Don’t miss this jewel in Coeur d’ Alene!!! Yum!!!

Initially, we walked in and there were a couple of boisterous patrons who appeared to be making our time a memorable one but in a tremendously negative way. Fortunately, those cackling hags left shortly after. It was a nice ambience and we ordered our appetizer which was the scotch eggs and these are highly recommended. They are a nice blend of mustard and vinegar. For our entrées, we tried the gnocchi special and the fish and chips. The former was quite good in flavorful in the latter, while being tasty, did not stand up to the London standard. That being said, it certainly did not break the bank and we will most certainly be back. We also had two drinks apiece and our total bill without tip was $ 53. Our waitress, by the way, was very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I loved this place! This was our first time & we will be back for sure! We don’t live too far from here so we decided that this is our new local pub! The food was very good and the service was awesome! We shared the scotch Eggs and they were the best we have had. I ordered the pasta carbonara special and it was delicious! Jeff ordered the tenderloin sliders and they were GOOOOD! The beer was great too! We were pleased to hear that they have live music on the patio during the summer time. Excited to come back and try more on their menu!

Went here based on a recommendation from random a guy named Dave from a Maverik grand opening in Hayden. Always listen to Dave. Went in with zero expectations because Dave gave us very little to go on, the food seemed interesting based on the pictures on Unilocal. Walked in and thought«Well, we are in another bar get ready for some bar food» and it turned out it was bar food … for the Gods. This place is the gem of Coeur d’Alene/Hayden, when traveling, I’m always looking for that place … You know the place that takes a minute to remember but when you do that is the only place you would ever recommend. Welcome to Paragon Brewing. I went with two buddies and we decided to all get separate dishes to try a few different things. We ordered 2 appetizers 4 entrees and 1 dessert. Highly recommend starting with the scotch eggs, the sauce is made of a colemans mustard and I think vinegar. Soft boiled eggs wrapped in English breakfast sausage and then split down the middle. Who does that? I’m always in search of good onion rings normally the onion in the onion ring is over cooked or under cooked these made other onions cry and wet themselves at the same time. This was appetizer #2. Already full at this point, and the 4 entrees for 3 people were not even there yet. I ordered the special«Porchetta» basically pork loin wrapped in porkbelly and slow roasted(see the picture for the real description). It was off the heasy, Chris our waiter highly recommended the pork chops but because the Porchetta was the special he recommended to try the Porchetta … was not disappointed. One buddy ordered«Boxty Pie» that was the chefs take on the traditional Shepards pie. WOW it was freaking awesome. I only had one bite because I wanted to get back to my Porchetta. Another buddy ordered the«Trottole» honestly, I wasn’t that impressed but pasta is not really my thing. If you like pasta feel free to order this. He ordered a chicken breast on top. The breast was moist and tender probably marinated in buttermilk. The fourth entrée we ordered were the«Fish and Chips» we ordered this dish based off the batter from the onion rings we were not disappointed. One lady on here«Melissa A.» complained about putting sugar on the fries… well yeah if it was just sugar, but it was a blend of different spices with sugar being one of them. Sugar was maybe 5% of the total flavor. The fish was not your typical fish you find in a pub. The batter they used was awesome flaky yet crispy and crunchy at the same time. At this point all of were full but Chris recommend us to try the«Ginger Panna Cotta» it was the special and what a great special it was I can’t even begin to describe the flavors that were in my mouth at that point. Overall, even though I couldn’t pronounce half of the words and didn’t know anything coming into the situation. I would highly recommend visiting Paragon Brewing. Pete Edge the chef is a genius.

This is our first time here. We stopped by on a whim. One of the best Ceasars salads I have ever had. Pale ale and brown(Paragon) pretty good. Love the environment. Great customer service. Would definately come back!

We liked this place. Good beer, great food and friendly service. My husband had a beef burger and I had the lentil bean and barley burger. The mushy peas with goat cheese is the best I have had.

Love the food, bangers and scotch eggs. Pasta was to die for. Better yet was the service and sitting out on the deck listening to a great guitarist. Loved it! Yay!

This is one of two restaurants I frequent regularly! I have been enjoying the food from this kitchen for over a year now and am very rarely disappointed! If I am disappointed it is short lived because the staff is moving mountains to fix whatever disappointment it may be. For example, on one of many occasions I ordered the bacon wrapped sliders and my bacon was undercooked making it semi difficult to bite through; Kerri noticed my struggle and before I knew it I had a couple pieces of crispy bacon to go with my sliders:-) another time, the scotch eggs came out sliced much differently than normal(thus ruining that Delish yolk I love) but I said I would eat it and no problem. Halfway through I was served another plate of eggs cut properly and had food to take home! ABOVEANDBEYOND with a true passion for food, beer, friendship and loyalty. I have sampled the crab app, crack fries, braised Brussels sprouts, potted trout, many weekly specials, the scotch eggs, the bacon wrapped sliders, the boxty pie with lamb and with beef and the bangers and Mash… I have eaten most of these items more times than I can count. One of the most flavorful places to dine in cda(that I have found), great service every single time without fail, amazing owners who love their community and customers, more than a handful of tap handles that are in constant rotation and finally a paragon brewing collaboration beer with a local brew company. It doesn’t get much better in CdA! If you enjoy your meal here even half as much as I enjoy my meals here then you will become a loyal patron just as I have… Unilocal on Unilocaler face!!!

Great food. British pub inspired, but unlike much British food, it’s good. They do it much better than actual Brits. Great beers on tap. Consistently. Always rotating, too. Staff is beyond friendly. And they remember who you are, quickly. Glad it’s in my neighborhood.

We stumbled upon this place during an overnight in Coeur D’alene. What a gem! We arrived about 20 minutes before the kitchen closed, so when we pulled into the lot, we were the only car in the customer parking. With that being said, we were a little leery since it was a Saturday night. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, it’s your loss! Beer: They haven’t started brewing their own yet, but they have an awesome selection of local brews to hold you over in the meantime. Food: Not your typical bar food, but that’s ok! I recommend the Scotch Eggs, Lentil Chorizo Soup, or the Bangers & Mash. All were outstanding! Service: Ok, as I had mentioned already, we came in 20 minutes before the kitchen closed. Now, I have worked in my share of restaurants and I know what that is like. That is generally frowned upon. The bartender was super accommodating and did not make us feel rushed. Both she and the other workers there even engaged us in conversation and asked about our travels. While this place is relatively new, I could pick up on a neighborhood bar vibe which is really refreshing. :) Check this place out!

Eat here now before you can’t afford it! Seriously, hidden gem. Each dish the members of my party ordered were fantastic — hearty and sophisticated. I had what amounted to a shepherd’s pie with chunks of lamb and a potato pancake instead of mashed potatoes. My friend had tenderloin sliders with shoe-string fries seasoned with something that made it impossible not to eat them. The menu was stellar and well varied filled with creativity and high quality. It would easily fit in a quality Seattle bistro. The beer/wine selection was good too but they aren’t brewing their own beers yet so you can generally get the same drinks elsewhere. It’s a definite hole-in-the-wall that is too good for its location.

This is an adorable little place with local microbrews and an English pub theme. My friends and I all ordered different beers so we could try a variety and I enjoyed all of them. *They also serve wine and cider for those who are not beer fans.* We ordered the scotch eggs to start and they were devoured in seconds. The eggs were served with some greens topped with their house dressing, which was amazing. I regretted not getting a full salad with the dressing(mustard vinaigrette)… until I got my main course! It was their tenderloin sliders wrapped in bacon with a Malbec sauce. I had to dip my bread in the sauce that spilled over because it was so yummy. So, long story short, a cute spot with amazing food and a nice local microbrew selection. As mentioned in other reviews, they do no have their own beer yet but I look forward to what they come up with!
