I came into Coeur d’alene just to visit and decided to get some lunch with some friends. After pondering on which place to go to, we settled on Greek and I must say I was blown away!!! Great eats and a great spot

On a good note, the food is good. We were disappointed with the service. We both ordered the Gyros sandwich with a side of fries and cup of soup as advertised on their«Specials» board. Our waitress would not allow my husband to substitute his fries for a simple side salad. How hard can it be to throw some lettuce and dressing in place of the fries. Apparently no substitutions. What was most disappointing was being overcharged; what was advertised and what they charged us was different. The unaccommodating service will not bring us back.

Food was very good. The moussaka was cold halfway through though. Huge restroom but no changing table. Delicious greek spaghetti with mizithra. The service was excellent and attentive.

I had the pork special and it was great! Good portion size for lunch and a lighter meal. The Greek coffee is also very good!

I hail from Milwaukee where there are Greek restaurants everywhere and everyone knows the proper pronunciation for gyro. I know my Greek food and know how quality Greek food should taste. I have been in Spokane for a few months and this afternoon I was struck with the craving for a gyro. After a quick Unilocal search I found that I would be driving 38 minutes to Santorini’s. It was worth the drive. Once I started browsing the lunch menu all of the options for Greek food from my life growing up in Milwaukee came rushing back to me. I didn’t even order a gyro. I decided to go all out and order both an appetizer and an entrée. I ordered the spanikopta and the lamb souvlaki with the tzatziki on the side with the idea that I would be bringing half of this home in styrofoam. The souvaliki also came with fries(which were pretty solid). Let’s start with the spanikopita. Absolutely delicious. I have been attempting to make this dish for years, but the phyllo dough I have purchased just doesn’t cut it at the level of the best Greek restaurants. I don’t know if they make their own or purchase it elsewhere, but the quality of the crust was phenomenal. Sometimes I like to eat my spanikopita in slices; sometimes I like to eat it in layers. Theirs made me conflicted. I ate half in slices and the other half I peeled away. There was more feta in this than I am used to. I like this. Now for the souvlaki. I am a lamb fan. I appreciated that I could order the lamb as medium rare. I don’t think I have ever had souvlaki that was not well done. Further, I don’t think I was ever offered the choice. Therefore, I think this was the first time I had ever eaten medium-rare lamb. Game changer for me. I always thought that lamb must be well cooked or else it would kill me. That is why no one ever asked me how i wanted it cooked and made it well done.(Admittedly I paused when the server asked me how I wanted it cooked and was unsure how to answer.) Note to self: Medium rare lamb is yummy. Next time I will be ordering the gyro instead of the souvlaki. Based on what I have eaten, this place aces Greek food. Finally, it is time to judge the waitresses. My number one rule for judging my waiter is how often my soda glass is empty. It never happened. The wait staff were excellent. My soda was re-filled every time it got to half full. To sum it up, I have a bit of a drive to get to this place, but will do it. Dolmades on my next visit.

I’ve been hearing what a great place this is, and my wife and I finally came in for lunch. Suffice to say, we will definitely be back. A lot! It’s an easy-going, homey mom and pop atmosphere. Service is warm, friendly and very prompt. And the food is delicious, delicious, delicious!!! We started with dolmades, and then I had a gyro while my wife had the souvlaki. Everything was prepared impeccably and seasoned to perfection. Great find!

My husband and I both had the gyro. It was delicious. The pita was fresh, warm, and had that perfect light but chewy texture. The staff was friendly and the service was quick even though the restaurant was half full. Don’t be put off by the outside appearance. This place is a diamond in the rough.

I was born and raised on my families home made Greek food. After moving away and finding this restaurant it was like coming home again. Every item on the menu is authentically made by the Greek couple that own and run the kitchen. The food is awesome, the service warm and friendly. If you are lucky enough to dine on a night that the fresh made Galatobuerko(lemon custard) is served, you can’t pass on dessert. A wonderful restaurant!

I ordered the gyro special, it cost extra for the feta as well. For me this portion is very small even though it included fries. So the combo meal being 9.50 isn’t the best value compared to other restaurants I’ve been. The service was prompt and friendly but after ordering it slowed. Based on the food I had I can’t give a 5 star rating. While good, I’d rate it sub par compared to other gyros I’ve had in the past. The meat I had was dry as well. The feta helped with that but you don’t get much for the extra you pay. I can’t recommend it.

Loved this place! It’s going on my regular places list. We were originally going to another place for pizza but the line was long and I remembered driving by this place earlier and thinking I need to go sometime. Such a better choice tonight! As soon as we pulled up and I saw KRONOS in the window I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. We all got the gyro with fries and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was until we got home and here I am still talking.

Best Greek food I have had to date, that includes NYC or LA greek spots. Owned by an older couple from Greece that makes everything from scratch. It’s funny they are located in a strip mall so you wouldn’t necessarily expect too much, but man, don’t let that fool you, the food here is AMAZING. Back for more as soon as my breath doesn’t smell like garlic!

we have meant to go here for a long period of time but didn’t have the opportunity until recently. This is a nice place which is more suitable to 1970s decoration inside. this is not to complain about because we are not there for that reason but rather for the authenticity of the great dishes which is very evident from the first bite do you take including even been able to see the owner slaving away in the back somebody who clearly enjoys what he does. do yourself a favor and spring for the baba ghanoush.

Solid, basic, flavorful, approachable Greek fare, served in a clean, pleasant room by a smiling, helpful staff that take pride in their product. Hits: A wonderful, tangy Avgo Lemono soup done with orzo instead of rice, and delicious tzatziki sauce and salad dressing, unpitted olives and rich, salty feta. Gyro meat on the salad and sandwiches was moist and flavorful and portions were appropriate. Suggestion: serve your fries with a garlic tzatziki and feta, and maybe a sambal or other hot sauce optional.

Love the goodness and quality of this Greek place. Just as good as my aunt’s Greek food. Which is a shock considering u don’t find to many authentic Greek restaurant’s. Love there sample platter that had Gyro and spanokapita, homemade humus and some other’s I can’t remember I just ate it. Was so good. Love their calamari appetizer wasn’t greasy or chewy. It was enjoyable and satisfying. My husband had their lamb and it was everything he hoped for.

Fabulous service and food! I was NOT raised on Greek food and really enjoyed the flavors! The cooks/owners are from GREECE! I had the HOMEMADE hummus… yes HOMEMADE with pita chips and they were tasty! I also had the Avgolemeno(Chicken Soup with Egg-Lemon Sauce) and Greek salad. The baklava was a little heavy on the filling. Do yourself a favor, quit reading this review and get in your car to eat here NOW!
