John at Cohasset Cycles has been taking care of my bikes for the past 15 years. He has worked on my commuter bike which I rode 50 miles a day to and from work in Boston. He tuned the bike I trained on for the Tour de France Challenge and also maintained my Tour bike. When I competed in the Mt. Washington Hill climb he built up a climbing bike for me and did a great job. Throughout all of the adventures, he always made the repairs that were necessary and never sold me anything I did not need. John is great with kids bikes, adult bikes, and can get you on the road for recreational cycling, racing, or even a grand Tour in Europe. He is a stand-​up guy and a great mechanic. If you want to get special attention during peak season, visit the shop on a day that is not Saturday. There is a lot of good riding to be had in the fall so if you don’t have a bike yet, stop by before we’re buried under 110 inches of snow.
