I’m impressed the owner called to follow up and find out why I canceled my membership. While the gym isn’t perfect the owner works hard and that means a lot.

Class this morning was killer. I have been going here about a month with low volume regular visits. It’s never crowded. I was looking to turn up the heat with an intensity class and it killed me. Barely made it through. The only gripe I can mention is that the cardio section machines are a lil crappy.

Don’t join this club! I cancelled my membership and they kept charging me the monthly fee plus they took out a fee in the middle of the month after I cancelled. I left several messages, Facebook messages, and text messages to try and resolve the situation but the owner never responded. I finally had to cancel my bank card so they couldn’t steal anymore money from me. I am filing a claim with the attorney general to try and get back my $ 300 they took from me. Don’t join unless you want to have money stolen from you! :(

If you are looking for a club that has the most up to date/​in the know trainers, look no further! It is clean, welcoming and friendly. You will definitely get your money’s worth here! I’ve been to several facilities, but this one is top shelf!!!

The gym is exactly what I needed. I can go at my own pace or I can really be pushed. Never too crowded, and every piece of equipment I could ever need. Staff is courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

If you are looking for a family-​owned gym that has the perfect balance of great group classes, specialized classes, and a decent gym for cardio/​weight-​lifting, this place is for you. Small, never crowded — not pretentious. Childcare room is unbeatable — my son loves it there. Also, the P90X classes are fantastic — Brenda and team are great instructors.

Do you want the complete fitness and gym experience without the crowds? Then Cohasset Fitness is for you. A plethora of machines, weights, and classes. Usually there are so few people there, it feels that you are working out in your basement. A quiet gym, where you go to get your business done, with really nice people. If you are a heavy weight bodybuilder, this might not be your place, but for the other 99% it should be your first choice in the south shore.
There is a new P90X class going now, along with spinning, pilates yoga etc.
I guess they have a spot to watch your kids too for the moms during the day.
