Local Vines and Gourmet Wine Shop

I’ve worked with the staff at Local Vines and Gourmet Wine Shop as a vendor and so my experience and review are from that vantage point. They are exceptional individuals and I have the best time when dealing with them! You can judge a lot about a business by the way that they treat their vendors. You imagine that most businesses provide good customer service, but I would argue that the true test of great business people are how they treat the people that they don’t necessarily have to «be nice to» (like vendors). In this regard, Local Vines and Gourmet Wine Shop is absolutely one of my most favorite to work with because of their courteousness, intelligence, and speedy response to my requests! I have zero doubt that they are even better with their customers which means that you will have a stellar time each and every time you visit!

great stop for a tappas night on the deck or a picnic on the beach. — i bought a sweet pepper olive spread and a red pepper and feta spread, both are to die for. it was nice to find an olive spread still made with olive oil not cheap canola oil! of course i also got some puopolo candies to finish the night. the wine selection is great, something for every price range. i ended up talking for a long time with the woman working, brenda, it was so nice to have wonderful customer service. i am tired of going into a shop and the sales person knows nothing about what they are representing. the wine sample of the night was an organic zweigelt from austria, since i was in austria last month it was a nice surprise. the price was a steal. when brenda mentioned slightly chilling this red i knew she was right on because that was how it was served in austria. i look forward to going back, and trying some cheese this time maybe with a white from the finger lakes.
