This place is a God-send for rainy days on the south shore. There are plenty of toys, a good amount of space and amazingly everything is quite clean. You can bring in your own food — you don’t have to splurge on overpriced junk-food. There’s even a fridge where you can stash stuff. They market as a playspace for kids 5 and under, and that is very accurate — school age kids might be bored, but toddlers and preschoolers have a great time. They charge for any child that is «mobile» or crawling, so use your judgement on whether to bring in a baby. You don’t have to buy a membership, you can just drop in, or you can buy a pass which gives you a slight discount. They offer classes too, art and music and the like. Cons: sometimes they shut down for private events, which I understand as that probably makes bank for them. Also their official hours do not include weekends — they open up on Sat and Sun occasionally if the weather is bad. You would have to get on their email list or check their facebook page to know for sure. So five stars from me would be… maybe if they were able to move to a bigger location and have a party area while still being open to others AND manage to keep clean and tidy at the same time. And maybe a second train table, that thing gets busy. And maybe another bathroom. That’d be perfect.

I go here almost weekly with my 1 and 2 year old. It’s clean and a great size — small enough that I can easily see everything, but big enough for everyone to play. Love that there is a little area to sit and have a snack.

We took our 1 yr old here the other day, while cooped up at home and needing to get out somewhere he could roam around on all fours. This place was the perfect solution. There are lots of toys, totally appropriate for his age, and the place seemed really clean. There are climbing toys and cars to ride around in, and a play kitchen, dollhouse, train tracks, giant legos. You can bring in outside food, too, which would be great if you were spending a lot of time there. We were only there an hour, but I’m pretty sure my son would have been content to stay all day.
