I have used Penro for compounding prescriptions for multiple cats and for my horse, over a period of many years. I chose compounding so that I could get the medication in a transdermal formula for my cats and to get a less expensive generic formula for my horse. Neal Pease has always been very informative. The staff is friendly and helpful. My needs have been pretty routine over the recent years. Occasionally, it has taken a little longer to get a refill than I would say is ideal, but I always give myself plenty of time so it is not an issue. They have an telephone refill system and I have never had an issue with that. And someone calls me when it’s ready so there’s no guessing.

Prompt, courteous and professional service which we so appreciated for our very itchy little dog. Vet called the script in after 5pm yesterday. I checked with Penro first thing this morning and it was waiting for us when we arrived. EVERYONE was both friendly and informative. Don’t know what happened before, but an obvious 300% improvement from 6 months ago. KUDOS, guys!

This is a completely awful pharmacy that isn’t worth dealing with. It took a week of prodding before they even acknowledged that they received the prescription from my vet. After that I was told that they were still«working on» the prescription and took 2 weeks to fill it when I was initially told that it would be ready by the end of the first week. Trying to get the prescription refilled was a nightmare — it took them well over a week to refill it and they even got the flavor wrong. My cats ran out of their medication both times that I needed to get a refill, which made my household a living hell while they transitioned on and off their meds. The pharmacist was aware that my cats had ran out of their medication, and was not apologetic at all. I even overheard her making light of other customer’s complaints while waiting.
