My husband Michael and I love their jalapeño bagels. The best around!!! Love their breakfast sandwiches. Love that it is family run!

Tim’s is a nice place. The service is always extremely friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant. It doesn’t take many visits before people know who are and what you order. But let’s be realistic — the food is generally best described as «acceptable». They are not, as claimed in several reviews here, making their own bagels and pastries, and much of their food is not«fresh» in the sense that fresh is generally used. Most of what they do is to prepare pre-made items. it is basically a better quality fast-food. And that’s fine — I am not knocking Tim’s for this. What makes Tim’s great is the service, the friendliness, the involvement with the local community. I’ll give my money to a place run with this mentality, with acceptable food, over a corporate franchise with crappy food, run by people who couldn’t care less about the community, any day.

Stopped in to Tim’s for«second breakfast» on the recommendation of a local, and was very satisfied. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll. YUM! Well executed, fresh and delicious. Courteous staff, too. Now I need to go back and check out the ice cream! Great local spot!

I have only eaten breakfast here, but I am in there at least once a week. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is ok. Nothing special. Food is fresh. Love the bagel sandwiches. Lots of repeat local customers and there are several breakfast places to choose from in the immediate area. I keep coming back to this place. Not for a full breakfast if you are looking for pancakes, etc. Bagels are fresh and a good variety.

Clean, friendly, quick, and the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. The English muffin, or bagel is always fresh and plenty of quality crisp bacon with every bite.

Horrible wildberry smoothie, Basically water and ice no flavor to it what so ever. My husband got a chicken club panini and it smelt, looked and tasted like vomit. Very disappointed, those are two very basic food and drink choices and they were terrible.

Bistro is a good little breakfast/lunch spot. They also have ice cream. The décor is a little old and worn but the food is very good. I had the lox bagel special, which comes on you choice of bagel with lox, capers, tomato, sliced red onion and cream cheese. Very good! My mother enjoys an early lunch and especially likes the Turkey Gobbler sandwich. It is turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, lettuce and tomato on your choice of wrap. A different type of sandwich. All reasonably priced.

Tim’s is a great find. The store is bright and clean and the food is fresh and delicious. I’ve been there several times when I’m in the area for both breakfast and lunch and you can’t go wrong. Try a panini… they’re fantastic. You can tell the owner(s) care about quality food and great service. A great independent, local place.

Tom’s is a treat. Everything I’ve had there has been delicious. The service is prompt and the staff are friendly. My out of town guests always suggest stopping there.

We stopped by here on our way to Rhode Island. The bistro has everything you would expect a deli to have but with more seating, fast service, and vegetarian options! We got a bagel toasted with hummus and Tim’s special(bacon sausage ham etc in a wrap). Apparently they even sell Ice cream but we were here in the morning so we didnt have any. Tim’s bistro happily exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back the next time we pass by Colchester!

I’ve had a few sandwiches that were good and some that were just ok. The delicious was the vegetarian wrap and thai beef panini. I had an absolutely terrible salad. It was a «garden salad with grilled chicken». The salad was all iceberg lettuce(I’ve never had an iceberg salad at a «bistro» before) and the chicken was mushy and flavorless. I could have had a better salad at Wendy’s. The chicken was literally McDonald’s quality grilled chicken. YUCK!

Faaaaaantastic bagles! It should be Tim’s Bagles. A coworker brought a dozen assorted bagels into work and everyone was impressed.

Best thing on the menu-caramel vanilla swirl coffee. Don’t bother with any other flavors. Breakfast sandwiches are good as well.

Tim’s Bistro is a great local breakfast/lunch spot. The staff are super friendly & the food comes out fast. Order & pay at the counter. I’ve only been for lunch. They have a good assortment of sandwiches, wraps, paninis & salads. The portion sizes are good, and often times I have a ½ sandwich left for the next day. They offer 3 – 4 Hale & Hearty Soups daily & the choices are delicious. I would recommend.

First time checking it out. Had chicken pot pie soup and side salad with homemade cilantro vinegarette. Husband had a grilled panini with really good bread. All very good!

If we were comparing this place to pretty much any bagel/sandwich place in NYC it would not be 4 stars. But this is not NYC this is Colchester. Staff was nice, cream cheese was good, bagels were decent(much better than dunkin crap). It was solid bagel for the area and I def will be back again for a bagel while running my weekend errands.
