Amazing coffee! Coffee ice cubes so your coffee doesn’t get watered down as the ice melts. Love it!

Sweetie Pies on Main is a charming coffee shop in Cold Spring Harbor with a «country kitchen» feel. The outside deck and seating area is picturesque and feels like home. It’s the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee after strolling the strip of stores in town.

This is one of my favorite places in the whole world. I drive a half an hour once a week just to get their coffee. It’s the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’m obsessed with the cozy atmosphere and homey feel. Sometimes I’ll get a cookie(which are also amazing), but the coffee is what has me hooked. If you are ever out on the island, stopping by Sweetie Pies should definitely be on your to-do list. Sure, it’s pricey, but worth it. I recommend coming here on a cold winter day with a friend and getting a nice warm cup of coffee and a cookie:)

Nice little pastry/coffee shop in Cold Spring Harbor. Fine to come on a sunny day and sit out on the back porch with a slice of pie and coffee. Tried the dark cherry pie and it was fantastic. Coffee is just okay but every pastry I tried was very good. Staff is friendly and they serve you as quick as possible. Only gripe are prices. Shared a slice of pie plus bought a cookie and some linzertorte for home and it was $ 25. I remember last time, two coffees and a slice of pie was $ 20. You’ll pay but the quality is high.

Had some delicious coffee today with a friend from work. The ambiance was so warm and cozy, and sitting on the terrace felt like I was sitting in some country cottage in New England instead of Long Island. They did make my Pumpkin Spice latte with almond milk, however, I wish they had more vegan options as far as the edibles were concerned. That’s way I give this place 4 stars instead of 5.

I have been going to this great spot for a few months. By far the nicest spot for a relaxing cup of coffee and a pastry. The workers are very attentive and always pleasant. Try sitting out back and enjoy yourself. They don’t make their pastries but have partnered with some of the best LI businesses around. Pastries, Bread, Maroni Meatballs and a ton of interesting packaged goods by unique small companies make this spot 5 stars in my eyes.

Very cute place and a great outdoor courtyard area, but make sure you have extra dough to blow — a simple large iced coffee ran me 6 bucks. Makes Starbucks seem cheap! The coffee tasted good, though, with coffee ice cubes so it didn’t get watered down. They have soy and almond milk options and a lot of different flavors and types of coffee drinks. The scone I got was stale, I couldn’t eat more than a couple of bites. The pastries are not made on premises so I’d imagine they’re not too fresh.

I was looking for a cozy place to grab a cup of tea and work on writing my dissertation. This place is cozy, and does serve tea, but with only three tables and no outlets to plug my laptop charger into, it didn’t work out too well as a writing space. I ended up doing some reading instead, though it was rather noisy with the table being only about a foot from the counter and people continually coming in and out. I would definitely come back for tea and perhaps a pastry, as they had a whole case full of delicious looking baked goods. The search is still on for a good writing spot though!

Our family comes here almost every weekend… great spot to start the morning, very quaint, friendly vibe, city caliber lattes and coffee, fresh muffins, croissants, cookies, caters to kids too and the back lawn/porch area is fantastic. It’s always nice to support local businesses, especially when the Starbucks right down 25a is so cookie cutter. Highly recommend.

Ordered an ice coffee with the coffee ice cubes(a neat idea). The overall vibe of the shop was very cute and rustic, typical of much of the North Shore of Long Island. The one thing I would suggest is for the owner and the workers to think about the way they treat their customers. There was a man in front of my boyfriend and I who was chatting up the cashier. The owner walks in and snaps at my boyfriend and asks(verbatim), «What are you waiting for? Still thinking or have you finished thinking yet?» I found this incredibly rude. Perhaps it’s the fast-paced nature of New Yorkers contrasting with my California upbringing, but it definitely was not what I expected from a cute coffee shop in Cold Spring Harbor.

I stopped by this place for e first time today. The place was all the way to east side of the Cold Spring Harbor small shopping town, very easy to find. There is no price on the menu board so Be careful. I had small size Iced tea, kids shared one small size smoothie, one slice of lemon bar and a bag of sugar cookies(5 small size cookies in the plastic bag) That is it. And I was shocked that price was 22 dollars in total. I understand some café can be expensive, but it was way too much. But good thing is the workers there are very friendly and willing to do right job for customers. Also the back yard was pretty taken care of well, so as other reviews say, the store deserve 5 stars, but I still feel the price was way too much. I don’t know if I will come back there again. I mean I don’t know if I can afford there again.

Woo! My favorite little coffee shop on Long Island. First, this shop is in the cutest area in Cold Spring Harbor. They have some of the best coffee, pastries and service. Iced coffee is the best because they use coffee ice cubes! They’re kinda pricey for coffee but they have great flavors and specialties, it’s a nice little treat and totally worth it.

The workers are racist. I wouldn’t suggest going here. Workers were unfriendly and inattentive. When I decided to pay for what I purchased, Asked to clarify the purchase because there were no labels. the cashier who rung me up thought I left, but I was still standing off to the side. I saw her say something to her coworker *that I will not quote, because it was disgusting* about the whole transaction

Charming little coffee & sweets spot with both indoor & outdoor seating available. They make a delightful soy latte, and usually have some vegan cookies as well as the usual fare of pound cakes, lemon bars, other cookies, macarons, and a variety of cold side salads(some vegan) in the cooler. The gift shop selection has creative, quality home goods pieces — a great place to stop in if you need an original host/hostess gift!

A friend of mine always brings a Sweetie Pies iced coffee into work, so I decided to try it out this morning. This is only based on my first time there, and I only got an iced coffee, but it was great! Cold Spring Harbor is a beautiful town and this place is right on Main Street next to little shops and things, it’s all very nice. The coffee shop itself was also really nice, it seems like a good place to sit and relax with someone over coffee. The coffee I had was great! And if I’m not mistaken, they used coffee ice cubes which added to the flavor and didn’t water it down. I understand that it’s a small coffee shop, but my only complaint is the price. I paid for the equivalent of a Starbucks«venti» and paid double the price…6 dollars and change. I don’t think iced coffee needs to be that much no matter how good it is. I’ll go back for sure, but I may just get a smaller size next time!

I should preface this review with the fact that I’m in my early 20s; I like minimalist décor — clean and simple, but also intriguing. So, the three stars reflect this perspective, nothing to do with the service or the food(both excellent). The café was a pleasant place, but I’m not sure I would visit again — just bc of how it doesn’t reflect my particular interests/preferences in a coffee/pastry shop. The shop is pretty small — only 3 round tables that can seat 3 people each. Lining the walls are kitchen related merchandise. The café comes across as cute but in an outdated sort of way. Something either an older crowd or young kids would enjoy. The ladies behind the counter are such lovely people. They warmly greeted us, took the time to open up tea containers so that my friend could take a whiff, and even pardoned seven cents that we owed them. The blueberry pie was pretty good. Crispy and flaky crust and not grossly sweet fruit filling. Sweetie pies also has an assortment of interesting latte flavors like coconut cream pie(which was good but didn’t really taste coconut-y).

Located off the beaten path in quaint Cold Spring Harbor. I was referred here by my Brooks Brothers salesperson. Well, were they right! Excellent pastries, coffee, tea, and«old style» Candies as well. A must try in the spring and summer to enjoy their large backyard area with tables, chairs and beautiful gardens. In the winter I am sure they will delight with hot chocolate as I tried this in the midst of summer and it was exemplary!

A gold mine coffee shop on the Gold Coast of Long Island. Located on Main St in Cold Spring Harbor, this café brings out the small town LI feel to it with its drinks and desserts. I believe they close by 6 pm during the weekdays and probably earlier on the weekend. Whenever I’ve entered this place their always making something fresh whether it be cookies, pastries or coffee. I highly recommend getting the iced coffee, what makes theirs different is that you can get flavored ice which is then mixed with the coffee rather than the usual syrup pump. They have WiFi inside, a few tables inside the store and a bunch of tables outside on the deck. In the winter its covered so you can still sit outside without freezing to death. This is 1 of 3 local coffee shops I go to, the others being Babylon Bean and Spoon Coffee House in Lindenhurst. The average person probably doesn’t make it to Cold Spring Harbor but its def the place to hit up in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Get lunch at Harbor Mist and then fill your stomach with some Sweetie Pies!

A solid four-star spot. I mean c’mon, did ya see the picture of the blueberry pie? Mmmm… After a nearly 6-mile blustery trek through nearby Caumsett, the boy and I decided to warm up with some tea and a treat. They serve up several brews of coffee, but those who know me know I am a tea-drinking kind of gal, so it’s no wonder my boy is a tea-drinking lad. They serve up a selection from local SerendipiTea which is based out of Manhasset. I opted for the Chai-Walla, which I liked a lot. I sort of have an addiction to Chai tea and this brewed up quite nice. The boy had the Fiji green tea and he liked his a lot as well. All paired up deliciously with a slice of blueberry crumb. I’ll admit, this sweet was a bit TOO sweet, even for me. And I have a sweet tooth. Granted, it was still completely yummy, but I think we will try another dessert next time we visit. Service was super, seating area is small. There are three tables if you are staying, plus a heated porch out back. Parking in municipal lot as well as street. If you’re in the area, definitely try this little gem and avoid your local franchise coffee shops. You’ll be happy you did.
