No other patients were there, but my visit still took over 90 minutes for a relatively straight-forward issue. The receptionist was also the MA and was talking loudly on her cell phone while I was waiting about how tired she was and couldn’t wait to get out of there. She clearly wasn’t listening to me when taking my medical history and asked me things I had already answered. Both she and the doctor demonstrated less empathy than robots would. The doctor did follow the appropriate protocol for testing/diagnostics for my issue, but it’s now over 4 days later and I still haven’t gotten the results(was told it would 2, max 3 days). I called yesterday and the person who answered the phone acted like it was a big imposition to leave a note to call me back with the results. While I was waiting in the examining room, I could hear the receptionist/MA banging around outside looking for supplies, talking loudly – asking what and where things were of the doctor. It didn’t exactly inspire confidence. The whole place had a disturbingly unprofessional feel. I would not go back.

Thank goodness this place is under new management. The last visit I had went good but the one before that the doctor asked me what medicine I wanted. WTF!!! I could of said anything I feel like. I told him I’m not sure, your the doctor lets just do whatever you think will work. Lol much better now!

I saw the other person review here, and generally this place can be nice. That’s a huge maybe. There is one doctor there that’s been working there for over 5 years, I know this because I saw other reviews about how big an ass this guy is. He’s some indian guy, Dr. Pravin J. Shah. He might be one of the lowest rated Doctors in the tristate by peer, and patient. This guy bosses his nurses around, yelling at them. Then he believes he is scary ya this guy, told me I should be afraid of him. Out of the damn blue, wtf total nut case. Apparently everyone that comes in gets this piece of paper that he xeroxes. The first line tells you, you are dirty. How crazy do you have to be to have these things made up and sitting on your desk. Apparently this guys theory is only dirty people get injuries and illnesses, this is a doctor without a clue. Check out the other reviews of this place, there are good doctors there, but this guy by himself drives away a ton of business. I’m really disappointed in the other reviewers rating, anything to boost this places business is a no. The fact that they haven’t replaced this guy shows this place doesn’t care. Don’t bother going find yourself a better place and save yourself the hassle and the urge of committing a crime.

I rushed off to Urgent Care one morning when I awoke with my eyes swollen shut. Arriving shortly after the doors opened, I was second in queue to see the doctor. The receptionist was very kind and asked plenty of questions as she filled out my paperwork. She even took special detail as I listed off my numerous medicine allergies. I was called into a room after a 10 minute wait. Nurse Ashley took my vitals and even had me read an eye chart to make sure my vision was not affected. Another nurse came in and took a culture swab of my eyes. Both were very friendly and compassionate; a welcome surprise for visiting an urgent care center. Dr. Pravin arrived ten minutes later and listened to my ailment story. He asked several questions, told me the results of my culture swab, and gave me two prescriptions for antibiotics as well as a sheet with instructions for at-home care. It is common for me to have allergies when taking ocular antibiotics, but Dr. Pravin took care in prescribing me a medicine outside the family of drugs that cause a reaction. Overall, my visit took about an hour. I noticed more people pouring into the waiting room around 10:30am, so if you wake up with a medical need, don’t hesitate. Come early. Urgent Care works on a first-come, first-serve, walk-in basis. The facility itself is modern and very clean. It’s great for young adults who don’t have a general physician and come down with an ailment that needs immediate treatment.
