LongHorn Steakhouse

When we got to longhorn the hostess said 15 minutes, a little over an hour later we were seated. It took 10 minutes for a server (not our server) to come ask for drink orders and another 20 on top of that to get food. This is not the first time this has happened and I will not be giving anymore money to this poorly run business. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

My wife and I went here this past Tuesday for our anniversary. My wife had ordered a surf and turf and I ordered a ribeye. First of all they forgot to add the surf part to my wife’s order and she had ordered a loaded potato which came plain, we finally got it fixed whenever our waitress decided to come out of hiding. I had ordered the ribeye medium rare, I started eating it and quickly realized that it was way undercooked so after flagging down our elusive waitress I sent it back and she said they would have it cooked properly. After about 5 minutes, the hostess brings me this steak and says cut into it and make sure it’s cooked properly, I quickly realized this steak they had given me was about an inch less thick than the ribeye I had before. I took a few bites and said to the waitress (who was miraculously standing there) and hostess «this isn’t my ribeye I ordered, this is a sirloin» in which the hostess replied «no its your steak, they just flattened it to cook it» ok for one thing you bleached out blond, it would be nearly impossible to flatten a 1 inch steak to a quarter inch without mangling it to death and also I know the difference in flavor between a ribeye and a sirloin, they are very distinct, so I asked our waitress to see the manager which was nice about it and took my steak off the bill. It boiled down to me, I do not appreciate them lying to me when there was clearly a problem in the kitchen and I’ll never give them my business again.

You have to dine at the bar and meet Okyon, this lady is a treasure to that place, had to travel there for work weekly and it was my Sunday night dinner at the bar. Always had the best service from her, food always good, she take the time to remember her regular customers and makes everyone feel welcome.

Our choice of restaurant for anniversary was Longhorn today. Good choice. The food was excellent as was the service. Our waiter, Steve, was «Johnny on the Spot» or I should say Steve. I wholeheartedly recommend going there. We will I know. Ron & Jean Short

Okay let talk about the experience I had today at Longhorn. Work was very busy so I decided I was not going to eat the lunch I brought with me and I was going to go have something delicious. I decided to get Longhorn because I wanted something different than the usual Mexican or Chinese I tend get, and I am so happy I did!!!
So my waitress was very nice, took my order quickly and brought me my drink right away. Today I ordered some options that are new to the menu because I wanted to try something different. I got the lunch half sandwich plus soup special. For my sandwich I got a «BPT» which is bacon, pimento cheese, and a fried green tomato– shut up right now! That thing was incredible.
For my soup I got mushroom truffle bisque… Drooling sorry! It had to have been one of the best soups I have ever had and I’m a soupaholic so I know soup! Usually chain restaurants don’t impress me like this but I was very happy with my meal today! GOOD JOB LONGHORN!

Had a good meal to send off 2013! Hope will have it better in 2014! Our meals tonight were great! Had a great waitress, she really took care of us! Speedy service!

Host was uninterested and unprofessional. Spilled water onto table and just walked off. Server never acknowledged it or tried to clean it up. Steak was decent. Loads of fat on menu. Key lime pie was from a box.

Being less than a mile from our home, we eat here several times a month. Our favorite time is lunch since they now have lunch combos, most being under $ 10. Soup and salad is what I typically order since you have a choice of several soups (French onion, chili, shrimp and lobster chowder or broccoli cheddar) + either a mixed greens salad or Caesar.
The place is always very clean and most of the servers are friendly and welcoming.

Food was good. Service was Great. Table, menu, salt & pepper shakers sticky. as in NOT CLEAN. A Cold Draft blowing on the table at first was a little disheartening. We had Buffalo chip appetizer. They were a little Salty I had the 7 Pepper salad it was very good. Patty had a salad and a baked potato also good. Two people two salads one baked potato one soft drink $ 27.51 before tip. Is this the New economy everyone is talking about? $ 33 total with tip no wonder its been a year since our last visit.
