Best breakfast in town! The Irish omelet and biscuits and gravy are great comfort foods.

Authentic old school type of place, right in the middle of Coldwater’s small downtown. Slower service than I’d expect though — even from a small town place like this, so I would not recommend it if you’re in a rush to make an appointment or get to work. My husband and I were really beginning to wonder if the server had forgotten us, but when she kept the coffee coming we were happy. My blueberry pancakes(ordered after reading another Unilocal review — thanks sir!) were absolutely fantastic, with real blueberries imbedded in the perfect fluffy pancakes. Great coffee, and just a perfect meal even with the slow service. Mainly old-fashioned fittings and décor here, impeccably well kept and seems to be updated as necessary without taking away the diner’s charm. Seemed like a mix of locals and out of towners on our weekday morning visit. Loved it. I see another review suggests one must bring cash but they processed our credit card with no issues.

Great fresh food and friendly service. The burger and chocolate milk shake were awesome. The white chicken chili was also very good. Bring cash :)

This diner was a treat of a find. Wanted something local, something homemade, and this place delivered. Breakfast was what we needed on an August Sunday morning. I chose the biscuits and gravy, simple and filling; gravy was full of sausage, just enough pepper, and not greasy as so many prepared versions are. My wife went for the corned-beef hash omelette, I’ll go back just for that hash. Small place, but seating wasn’t a problem. Family operation, and it shows. Diner atmosphere with a train that runs high up along the diner wall.

Good food — diner atmosphere, reasonable prices again had 6 and had no wait to get a table. Everyone had an easy time finding something good on the menu! Excellent coffee and cup was never empty, even though they were very busy. Happy servers.

Back when I was a kid, I think Harry’s was here. Anyone else remember the 50s? Still a good place no matter what the name. Burgers are great, service is spot on and the prices are fair.

The enchilada casserole was excellent. I was skepical for the dish at first but it was very good. I don’t normally try new things. The only thing I didn’t like is my Verizon phone got no reception inside.

My husband’s family has a cottage in the area and we typically do not eat in town. However, this time we were looking for a good breakfast join and Jeannie’s delivered. A classic diner feel with friendly waitstaff, everything you’d expect on a diner menu, good sized portions and excellent prices. Hubby’s omelette was chock-ful of the ingredients and I was loving my grilled cinnamon roll. A must try! Definitely recommended.

Best blueberry pancakes I had in a long, long time. I’d go back for those alone, but throw in the breakfast counter, regulars greeting you @ the door, expansive menu and fresh brewed iced tea, I might even drive out of my way. :)
