Purchased cisco switch online, buyer refused to accept return. Filed Paypal claim for«Item was not as described», Paypal asked for a third party statement to support my claim. Got a fair statement from friendly computer service, returned the cisco switch, got a full refund from Paypal. Happy with the service that I received from friendly computer service, will visit them again when I need help.

We had a great experience with the guys at Friendly. They repaired one lap top and sold me something I could use as a replacement while I waited for the repair. The one I purchased was a bit of an older model but perfect for what I need it for. They were flexible with changes to the repairs and some changes I wanted to the one I purchased. They kept me informed as the work progressed and parts were received. They were very friendly and took their time answering questions. They didn’t treat me like I’m stupid although I know almost nothing about computers, and am much older and a bit out-of-touch. I really appreciated that.

Neat little store. Good used selection of towers and laptops. My senior dad want a computer to buy for the first time. Staff was knowledgeable and fun so we purchased a laptop and pc tower Works like quality.

I run a business in the area and need someone to come look at our computers. The guy that answered the phone asked, what I needed, I said an anti-virus and maintenance plan for my business’s computers. He said, we don’t do that… you’d have to bring them in. Huh? I said, I have to bring 7 computers in to you? He said yea… What kind of computer place is this??? I, politely, hung-up.

My computer went blank a few months ago and I had no idea what was going on. I went online and googled a few computer repair shops in the area and ran across this one. i tried it out because it was close and had so many good reviews. The customer service was awesome! They did a diagnostic on my computer and gave me as many options as possible to get me a working computer ASAP. They gave me a good deal on just purchasing a new computer since actually fixing my problem was going to probably cost me more and wasn’t worth it. Until this day any issue I have with my computer, I know I can take it to Friendly and it will be taken care of.

I arrived before 10:30 a.m., the opening time, and the shop was closed. I waited until 10:45 and left. I came back in the afternoon in a steady rain, and took my rather large desktop out of the car. A tech watched me through the window, but did not get up to hold the door open, even though I was a customer with a big desktop in my arms. I managed to get in without putting the computer down in a puddle and then explained about the wait and received neither an explanation nor an apology. The diagnostic price for the desktop was $ 29, which could be applied to a repair, which would be $ 99/hour plus parts. There seemed little clarity about how long a repair could take or whether it might be worth it. It’s great to call yourself friendly, but these people definitely weren’t today.

I had something seriously wrong with my HP laptop, and I needed someone to fix it fast. I am a student at UMD, and I hate going through OIT so I decided to try this place out. After doing a diagnostic, they told me what the problem was and said they could have it fixed by the next day. I couldn’t be happier with the work done on my laptop. I got a fair price, my laptop was in working order within 24 hours, and the owner actually was very friendly! As long as my computer doesn’t explode within the next week, Friendly Computer Service gets 5 stars from me.
