Pizza Hut

The guy who picked up the phone named Darryl (which I doubt is his real name, unless he is dumb enough to do that) said that he is a customer service associate in San Antonio, Texas and can not change the time of my order to 45 minutes later. He was also laughing and talking for about 30 seconds when he picked up the phone before he said anything. Idk if dude was high or what. All I do know is that he will forever be working at Pizza Hut and will never advance in life if that is how he carries himself and clearly doesn’t care about his job. Sad, sad case smh

This place is never worth the effort. You get lackluster customer service when you go in, to the point where the staff make you feel like a complete bother for patronizing their establishment.
I would love to deal with them only by delivery, but that’s even worse. 1. The website says it’s only open 6am-​6am, which means it doesn’t register as being open. Pizza Hut closed at 7pm on a Monday seems crazy, right? 2. I tried to call the order in, and after being put on a leng4hild, was told «we’re not delivering today.»

Pizza Hut in a college town decided which days it wants to deliver? Oh wait, I should have remembered that because it was the 2^nd time I’ve tried to call an order in but got that response. And those calls were over a year apart. I’d love to think I’m just that special, but my gut tells me this location is poorly managed. Domino’s will continue to together my money.

Two hours later and my pizza still hasn’t been delivered. Now they’re not even answering the phone.

This is the only Pizza Hut that delivers in my area. Every single time I have tried ordering from this place, the experience has been an absolute disaster.
For even the simplest orders — I’m talking a medium sized pizza and nothing else — it can take up to 30 to 40 minutes past the original estimate. Every time I have called to ask about the status of my order, I’ve been told «it’s on its way,» only to have it still take, at times, up to an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Pressing them for an actual, quantifiable time estimate will get you «it’s already on its way,» or «the driver has just left.» Every. Single. Time.
My fiancé and I have even taken to calling the establishment and providing directions for the delivery drivers to assist in finding our house. Even with that, orders take up to 60 to 90 minutes when the estimated arrival time is anywhere between 25 to 40 minutes. For reference, I could walk to this location and be back at my house with my order in less time than this Pizza Hut takes to deliver it by car, according to Google Maps.
There is no documentation or accountability at this establishment. During one particularly horrible experience (which took three hours from the time I ordered it to get to my house — mind you, I live one mile away), the manager said they would give me an order of equal value for free the next time I ordered. That didn’t happen. In fact, they didn’t even take my name or contact information to make sure they could keep up on their word.
On top of all this? The pizzas are usually burned or cold. It’s one thing to have questionable service but a great product that makes the hurdles worthwhile; it’s another to have a product that doesn’t even meet expectations.
Skip the stuffed crust pizza and take your business elsewhere, Unilocalers. This establishment has mediocre products, an inability to deliver on expectations, and apathetic management methods.

Always order carry out on Sunday nights at least twice x month and they get what I want on time. The folks who work are very polite and I appreciate their attitude.

This is the Pizza Hut that delivers to Greenbelt… Every single time we’ve ordered from them the pizza arrives cold and they forget our drinks. We usually wait 90 minutes for delivery from them. I don’t know why we keep going back– must be the stuffed crust.

DO NOT rely on them for delivery services!
Please, please, listen to the reviewers that have given this restaurant two or less stars! The masses are correct.
I live in Greenbelt and this is the only Pizza Hut that delivers to my area. I have tried their delivery services many times and consistently, here is what you can expect: (1) a frantic manager who appears to have lost control of the shop; (2) long waits beyond the said delivery time; (3) continuous calls back to the shop until someone picks up so you can ask about the delay; and (4) wrong or cold food delivered.
November 15, 2014, I experienced this all over again. I ordered on-​line and the wait time said 2 hours and 20 minutes. I did not want to wait this long, so I called the shop. The manager answered frantically and asked me to hold. I waited more than five minutes and called back. The manager was about to ask me to hold again, but I interrupted him and shouted that I wanted to cancel a order. The manager asked for my number, looked up the order, and frantically said that I have a driver now and it won’t be this long. I waited more than 45 minutes (beyond the said time) for the pizza. I called the manager back again and he said that all pizzas had left the store. The pizza arrived cold and burnt. It appears that they ran the pizza through the oven twice, left it out to get cold and hard, and then delivered it to me. Needless to say, I threw it in the trash.
This shop always seem to be in a disarray – lack of strong management; no drivers;
inexperienced cooks or cooks who do not care; and no good administration – order.
While I’ve gone on about the delivery service, please know that the food is NOT good! The better pizza is found at the Pizza Hut located on Greenbelt Road. Too bad they don’t deliver to my area.

This pizza hut is horrible. I had gone in there to order pizza at 11 o clock on a saturday night and their doors were locked. Why would their doors be locked if they close at 12 it didn’t make any sense. When we walked inside the guy at the cash register didn’t know shit about taking orders from people. He was on his phone the whole time and was talking about customers while we were sitting there waiting for our pizza. When we had finally gotten our pizza and we put cheese from the salt shakers he has the nerve to say, «can you put that back where you got it from.“He was lazy, unprofessional and unintelligent he worked there so wouldn’t he put it back I’m the paying customer shouldn’t you be pleasing me. The service was horrible and the food was horrible I would not recommending coming here to anyone else.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst Pizza Hut I have ever been too. Worst service I have ever received. We ordered a large cheese pizza — nothing crazy. The server had to come back to us three times to double check our order because she couldn’t remember between the walk from our table to the computer. We weren’t served our drinks, the pizza arrived cold, and I had to go behind the counter to get a box because the staff were too busy socializing and talking on their phones.
Also, what Pizza Hut doesn’t have a salad bar? Or at least their special Romano salad dressing. Complete disappointment and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone

This place does not give any toppings, they are so dam greedy! If I ask for sausage then dam it put some on my pizza! I’m not happy with this place and I will not be back! Go elsewhere for pizza,

Everytime we needed something we had to get up and go find somebody… and we were the only customers there!!!

Pizza hut cannot compare with high grade pizza. Everyone knows that when they order food or walk through these doors, so the pour ratings from customers because of food quality is irritating.
I just finished eating from the buffet and the the lady running the front was fantastic. She was quick to refill my drink, she stayed on top of the dirty tables and she was very kind.
This is an older building with older furniture, but the staff keeps it clean and they are attentive.
I am a student at UMD and I will be sure to bring some books to study from the next time I am here.

Despite all of the low reviews, Im going to give this Pizza Hut 5 stars simply because the guy was so nice and courteous. and the pizzas not bad either, it wasn’t greasy at all. for a pizza place near umd, this is a great choice.

Seems like they go out of there way to make bad pizzas… It’s 2 blocks from my house and I gave the carry out two chances… Both times the pizza was awful… got the pizza bites… awful… It doesnt make sense to me because i have been to other pizza huts which are usually really good. It seems like this place is either cutting corners to make cheap pizzas, or just isnt trying at all period. Luckily there are a ton of other options in the area.

Reviewing the buffet here; if you don’t mind waiting a while, you can get a ton of food for only $ 6. The staff are not very attentive, however, and usually you have to request a vegetarian option. Other than that, it’s a pretty typical pizza buffet; it’s a great deal for groups if you all like pizza and don’t mind waiting a while for them to make more pizzas.

This establishment is not on point.
I mean, the personal pan pizza was good, but the manager is pretty incompetent.
Before ordering, I asked him straight up, «Is the personal pan pizza ready RIGHT NOW? If I order now, will you have my pizza ready NOW?»
The guy said «Yeah Yeah!» So I payed for my order, but it turned out I had to wait 25 min. for my personal pan pizza.

Greasy greasy greasy pizza. Pizza hut pizza has always been really greasy, this place is just a little bit worse.
The 1^st reviewer is totally correct about Pizza Hut being a big deal in Asia. Having been to China recently I can say that as a person traveling on a budget, Pizza Hut is not the place to go in Beijing or Shanghai.
