I wish I had found Anne sooner! She gave me a great haircut, and had no problem fixing it up a few days later when I decided to add more layers. It may be a little pricier than other salons in the area but it was well worth it.

Morrigan is a tiny hair genius. She took half the time as my old salon and made it look twice as good. I HATE fake chatter from stylists, and she didn’t do any of that. Just very genuine explanation of what she was doing to my hair at each step. The price was incredible. I will definitely be back. Also see the tip below about schedulicity.

My daughter in-law took me to Cutler 2 salon, while I was visiting from California. I am thankful she did., I got the hairstyle I have always wanted and was educated on how to maintain it. My hair styles usually last until my first washing but three months later I still love it!!! I never believed in using«special» products, but the Aveda line is wonderful.

I went to Cutler 2 salon and spa at the beginning of the school year to get my hair cut and highlighted prior to taking important professional headshots for my graduate program. Not only did the appointment take about 5 hours and almost caused me to miss my photography appointment(~3 hours first visit plus ~1.5 to 2 hours second visit) it was outrageously expensive, and I felt the results were sub-par. I actually made the appointment strategically because I wanted to have my hair looking good for my photograph after being professionally blown out. After realizing that the highlights were already taking too long, I had to ask the stylist to just wash out the color, and skip the cut and blowdry so I could make it to the appointment on time(which could not be rescheduled). So, instead of looking great in my photo, I had to go in rushed, with my make-up not finished, with partially wet hair that I had to literally hang my head out the window while I drove to try to dry some. Then, after the photography nightmare, I went back and the stylist finished cutting my hair and blow dryed. Afterwards, I was FLOORED by the price. I have hair that comes down about to my shoulder blades and I was told it would be $ 120 – 150 but somehow after all that the total was $ 180! And that was before any tip, which I am an obligatory tipper even when I get poor service. As I mentioned above, I also didn’t even feel like the highlights looked that great. Too much roots were still visible because the stylist didn’t get the foils close enough to my scalp. I get my hair done in the North Dallas area for $ 100 – 120MAX with a cut and full highlight plus blow out and the results are tons better. In my opinion, things in Dallas are generally MORE expensive than college station, since this is a small town. I really had a horrible experience and will not be back. I was really disappointed because the place has such good reviews on Unilocal.Im starting to wonder how many«friends and family» of stylists wrote those reviews. As a student on a tight budget, I literally left the salon and wanted to cry!

My «regular» salon almost burned my hair off with over processing and lack of attention, so I came to Cutler2 at the suggestion of a close friend with gorgeous tresses. Ann has been perfectly coloring & cutting my hair for almost 7 years, now! From super blonde to brunette, back to blonde-ish and now back to dark, Ann kicks ass. She has a great eye and feel for the Aveda line of colors and products and I trust her completely. I get weekly compliments on my hair and I just spread the good word«go to cutler2!!!». You’ll, thank me, I promise!

Niki Shea is a gem who, fortunately for those in B/CS, could easily hold her own in a top salon anywhere. I recently moved back to College Station after living in London(where I did office work for Windle and Moodie, an elite salon that caters to models and fashion types) and was a bit panicked about finding a good hairdresser for my high-maintenance precision bob. After some good but not great cuts at salons I patronized in Austin before moving abroad, I decided to give Niki a shot and I’m so glad I did. Not only did she clean my cut up and bring it back to its London shape, she took the time to really get my cowlick-filed bangs just right, which is no small feat. So many hairdressers treat bangs as an afterthought, even though they’re one of the first things people notice.(I’m neurotic about these things, okay?) Niki has a natural ease and charm about her and you can’t help but feel happy, comfortable, and a little giggly around her, like she’s an old friend you’ve known forever. She’ll talk you through every step of your cut and you’ll have a good time while she does it without feeling pushed into anything. It’s very obvious she loves her job and that passion translates into an excellent overall experience. I’m definitely looking forward to my next cut with her.

Naomi is THEBEST. I’m really picky about my curly hair and have a hard time finding anyone who knows anything about curls but she is the best I’ve ever been to. Went from below my shoulders to cut up by my ears and she did it marvelously. Will DEFINITELY be going back to see her again…

I went to Naomi at Cutler 2 Salon and Spa in College Station the entire 4 years I was at A&M, and she always did such an amazing job!(I was so sad to leave her after I graduated.) She truly listens to what you say you want, and if you ask her for a recommendation, she always has great ones. The salon is clean, and they sell a great selection of Aveda hair products. I only went to Naomi for my cuts, but I know they have a great staff, so I think I can safely recommend any of them :). Go to Cutler 2!

Love this place, especially Marci. I am picky(for a guy) and she always gets it like I want it even when sometimes I did not know that is really what I wanted. I have been going for over two years based on the recommendation of a friend and in that time have sent several of my friends to see her. Cannot go wrong!

Excellent at curly hair and highlighting. Ann and Amy are both superb. I won’t get my hair cut anywhere else in College Station.
