We are still waiting for a good, local pizza place and unfortunately this is not it. Hubby waited half an hour(in-store) beyond the given pick up time for carryout. The pizza was lukewarm and undercooked on a NY style thin crust, so it was just soggy. They gave us a credit for a free pizza as compensation, but we won’t be back to use it.

Here’s the deal. Three things that will make GTP the best pie in town: 1) If they have a conveyor oven, ditch it for a conventional one. 2) TAKETHEGARLICOUTOFTHECRUST, FORTHELOVEOFGOD. Leave that nonsense to little Caesar’s 3) Cook your meat(except bacon) on your pizza. And if you use AP flour boys… stop it and use bread flour.

I really enjoyed this pizza. The owner was super nice and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. I went on tuesday and there were a decent amount of people there for it being such a new restaurant. I highly recommend it if you want to have a good beer and pizza that is better than the usual chain pizza. Two thumbs up!
