Great place to study with a variety of spots.
There’s big open tables next to microwaves and a sink right outside, a quiet second floor inside the library, lots of media stations where you can connect your computer to a bigger screen and work with your groups, and my favorite, the GPS, which is for graduate and professional students only. You can reserve a room or just study in the lobby space. There are white boards and computers for your use plus electronic charging stations. Staff here is friendly, too. With all the ceiling to floor glass windows, lighting is very nice and natural, even on rainy days.
Unfortunately parking costs money before 5pm and is usually jam-​packed after 5. Park in the back for free! And the MSL is only open from 1−5pm on game days.

Anyone seen the new food friendly renovation of the Med Sci?
It used to be in the past that this was a non food friendly destination. Not only is food on West Campus rare, they would not allow you to bring any in here when trying to study and eat.
Big changes. Now there’s an entire café type of eating area with vending machines and microwaves. Very modern, clean and open. If you don’t care for what’s in the machines you can now bring your own food and heat it up in the free microwaves.
Filtered water machines now available as well to fill your own bottle.
