O’Reilly Auto Parts

These guys here (and gal) have been good to me since I started going last summer. They always have the parts for my explorer, and they recommended a good shop to do some work that was too difficult for me. They also gave me no fuss about 2 returns I have made; no questions. The fellow by the name of Jacob has been the nicest to me, he deserves some recognition.

The guys here are great. My car needed more then just a simple battery terminal replacement and they recommend the perfect shop. They also educated me a bit on how it works! very thankful!

This store used to be my regular parts store. They have a decent selection of tools, windshield wipers, oil, fluids, filters, etc. I’ve bought batteries & cables, oil & filters, radiator hoses, plugs & wires, and endless miscellaneous stuff I couldn’t remember.
They did let me down when I was looking for a Haynes manual for my current car, and they didn’t have it in stock. They said they had ordered it, but after 2 weeks, I found a copy elsewhere. Also they gave me a quote for 2 engine mounts I was pricing, but it was mis-​listed, showing both mounts as the same serial #, and they weren’t able to order even the properly listed mount from their supply pipeline. I had the same problem at several other places too, but this place got so much of my business & money over the years, that I couldn’t help but feel disappointed.
BTW Greg, if you’re looking to snap pics of exotics, then keep an eye on hotel parking lots, like the Hilton, weekday afternoons. Exotic dealerships in Houston sometimes set up 2 or 3 car demos, and then you might get to see a couple of dumbass lot-​boys autocrossing Ferraris up Univ. Dr. (ostensibly after dithching the salesman). I don’t know how this economy affects that market.

This store has the best and broadest selection of motor oil in College Station. If you are looking for a top notch oil for your sports car or daily driver, they carry everything from Royal Purple to every grade of any brand of synthetics. Those can be hard to find.
