I took my daughter’s prom dress in to be hemmed. It had multiple layers, so I knew it would be more than I usually spend. I was given an estimate of between $ 50-​$ 100. Thinking it would be somewhere in the middle, I agreed. When the dress was ready, I was charged $ 92. I should have asked for a more firm estimate, but it won’t be from Pruitt’s next time I need alterations. That’s not a good way to treat customers. I’m very disappointed!

Cute store. The game day dresses are perfect for tailgating and the staff was helpful and friendly. I took off two stars because their products are extremely overpriced for what they are offering. I assumed my dress would be $ 35 but at the checkout it came to $ 76. Really? I understand that they are «custom» but that price is too high for two simple pieces of fabric stitched together. I ended up making the purchase because it was a gift for my visiting sister but I can spend that money at a nicer boutique.

Absolutely adorable dresses that I so BADLY wanted but 82 $? Yikes. Very unfortunate because they truly are exactly what I was looking for!!!
