Here’s the deal, I won’t play… I’m in it for the tortillas… which are FANTASTIC. They have great Taco Tuesday deals and a cool salsa bar. It’s good when you need something quick and inexpensive.

My wife recently went here with my son and a bunch of his Corps of Cadet friends in tow after a football game. Rosa’s reminds me of a Taco Cabana on steroids, or a place where you go for cheap Mexican food after a hangover. The food is not really restaurant quality, but it’s pretty cheap and they can handle a crowd. And holy cow are they fast! I paid for the group of 8 and they had it all done in five minutes! I tried the green chile stew and I have to admit that it was very good and nice and spicy. All the guys polished off their food as well. So it’s not a place to go for a nice meal, but a quick Tex-Mex fix for a good value.

It’s hard to beat Taco Tuesdays where you get 3 tacos(chicken or beef, soft or hard shell) with rice & beans and complimentary tortillas for $ 3.99!!! You won’t be Wowed by the quality of Tex Mex but the quality to price is right! You can also look forward to the salsa bar which includes pico de gallo, onions, pickled and fresh jalapeños, varying levels of spices red salsa and salsa verde.

Wow — Two years since I have reviewed this place… I do believe this will be the final one. Stopped by here at opening Saturday. Ordered a combination plate and it came out like in 60 seconds before we could even sit down. Lukewarm. When a manager came to our table and asked how everything was I told him the truth that the food was cold. He stated that they heat it to 140 °F and that adding all of the shredded lettuce cools the food down. Nope. Bullshit. I got the shreds all right, as in level 9 diarrhea. Reporting to Health Dept for serving cold food. The staff is friendly and there’s a huge amount of cool decorations to look at.

The only good thing about this place is the tortilla. Rice and beans are just that, rice and beans. The taco fillings are NASTY. The chicken tastes like it was boiled with zero seasoning. Ditto for the ground beef. The various salsa options are all extremely bland, and, in general, just don’t taste right. Even on Taco Tuesday, this place isn’t worth it.

Lively atmosphere and a very different décor. Decent Mexican food. You have to try their Sopapillas with honey! I owe the introduction of this delicacy to a very fine lady :)

I come here for the beef fajita plate. The meat is good, the tortillas are great and during lunch it’s $ 10.00. As a person with a Hispanic mother I am very picky about Mexican. For $ 10.00 their fajita plate is solid!

The food here was okay for the price. It’s like a taco cabana but slightly more upgraded atmosphere. The food came out fast and was pretty good I ordered the Mexican mix plate I believe it’s the number 8 the dish overal was good the tamales was slightly dry but was ok. The cheese enchilada was not so good though. There tortillas are delicious though. The dessert was good can’t think of the name but it’s puffed cinnamon tortilla served with honey tasted like a apple pie with no apples it was tasty. Friendly staff.

This place used to be really good when it first opened. Now I’m not sure what happened between then and now but good quality is no longer in their vocab. My only question is how on earth do you mess a simple plate of nachos up? The chips look store bought, the cheese and beans are obviously from a can and the meat doesn’t look appetizing in the slightest. Definitively not happy I spent my money on this.

Taco Tuesday, the busiest day of the week for Rosa’s, so I opted to call our order in, intead of fighting the crowds. A gentlemen answers the phone and asks me four different times how many people the order would be for. Each time I tell him the same thing. three people, on one order. Then he tells me to just come through the drive-thru instead. That’s when I ask him if he needed for me to speak Spanish to him. he says Yes. Why the hell are you answering the phone if you cannot communicate with your patrons?!? I put him on hold for five seconds to get my Spanish speaking coworker to give the order, and the fool hangs up on us! Next time, just don’t answer the damn phone. if there is a next time.

I love their chicken taco plates on Tuesdays with rice, beans and tortillas. It is usually packaged on Tuesday, but the food and prices are great. The selection of salsas allows you to pour as much as you like on your tacos.

Never ever ever ever ever again. A waste of 12 dollars and 25 minutes. Got the #3. Terrible taco, awful beans, inedible enchilada. Do not go!

This is probably my favorite go-to restaurant during the week. Taco Tuesday has been a lifesaver so many times. It’s not the BEST mexican food, but for the price and convenience, you can’t beat it. Better than swinging through Taco Bell or Taco Cabana, that’s for sure! My fiancé and I went in the restaurant the other day for Taco Tuesday. We both had margaritas. We paid $ 12, total. $ 12 for two taco plates(3 tacos, beans, & rice) and 2FULLSIZE frozen margaritas. Seriously. You just can’t beat that. I’ll also mention that their fajitas are delicious(and we enjoy the low price of Fajita Friday!) If you don’t eat anything else, go get yourself a dozen of their fresh tortillas. Just do it.

Décor is really festive and bright. Also really clean. Okay. So it may not be super authentic food but it does meet the requirements of being tasty and filling. This really is high quality fast food. It sounds like an oxymoron but it is what it is. Had the beef enchilada. The beef was a little dry for my taste but nevertheless the rice beans and tortillas definitely made up for it. The chicken enchilada was better simply being all white meat chicken breast in the enchilada. I was very pleasantly surprised and will certainly come back. I would like to make a correction. It cast me $ 17 for two meals and two drinks so it’s only one $.

I’ve only ordered takeout and had this catered, so I can’t speak to the service. But their beef and chicken fajitas are awesome. Beef is seasoned deliciously and is thoroughly tender. Chicken was white meat, but it was juicy and not dry at all(I’m looking at you, Layne’s.) Slap some on their namesake tortillas and you have a pretty damn good taco.

Totally not authentic, despite the cup proclaiming«Authentic is our special ingredient. « Red spicy salsa tastes sour and nasty. They don’t even have quesadillas or horchata! The tamales are tiny. Three of them are equal in size to a normal tamale at any other place. It’s simple and tastes fine but nothing beyond. I got the Mexican plate with a cheese enchilada, hard taco, rice lettuce salsa and beans. Replaced beans with extra veggies. Enchilada was filled with a gummy yellow cheese. Ew but my bf thought the enchilada sauce as tasty. I thought the enchilada sauce was monotone and salty. Lettuce was sad. The hard beef taco is equivalent to taco bell for twice the price. The rice was fine and I didn’t leave the place burping as I normally do after eating at Mexican places due to an overload of spices and grease, but nothing else redeeming about this place. Oh and the interior is extremely gaudy but spacious and clean. Dont ever take a date here. The only things that redeems this place are the fresh flour tortillas. That is the only thing worth ordering.
