Waited 40 minutes for our food(the restaurant was not busy) and the portion for my quesadillas was really sad, 3 small pieces and too many cheap chips. The chicken tenders my friend ordered were huge though! After waiting a long time someone who looked like a manager came out to apologize and make sure we had our food. He was nice but the bartender kept giving us dirty looks because we had originally tried to order our food at the bar.

We came here for a school event and I have to say — I absolutely love this place!!! Granted, we didn’t have the typical experience since we had the top floor to ourselves, but the lower floor was still open. The staff was extremely attentive and always made sure we had anything we needed. They had a decent selection of drinks as well! They didn’t have a lot of red wines, but I did find a Pinot I really loved. The parking wasn’t too terrible either. There are a few free spots around the corner, but the best place without much trouble would be the metered places right behind. All in all, great spot for a quick bite. Will be back soon.

They apparently aren’t aware that it is Saturday & the Aggies are playing at home. They are understaffed & of the people on staff maybe only half are actually working. The food was average. Mixed drinks don’t waste your money No need to ever go back

It is really sad because the food is here amazinggg but I will not be returning as long as the female manager is working there. I have had her a few times as a waitress and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Not only is she rude but she is lazy and thinks the customers are always wrong. I get very sick from mustard and I made that clear, she brought my sandwich to me with mustard on it(after already waiting 45 minutes for my sandwich) and I told her I can’t have this on my sandwich. She came back with my sandwich with the cheese scraped off and the mustard scraped off my bun, still all over it. An hour later she brought me a plain sandwich after I complained again and refused to refund me. Well today I found out she’s the manager. Everyone around us waited on average an hour and a half for their food. I got my food first and 45 minutes later the two with me in my party still never got their food. We complain and ask for the manager. I was extremely disappointed it was this woman who came to help us. She apologized and I demanded a refund. She refused to refund me and came back with two 5 dollar bills for each of my friends. Such a joke and I plan on getting in contact with someone so they know what this girl is doing to this place.

The place is a total dice roll. I have come here and had a 5 star level Unilocal meal and had a 2 star level Unilocal meal. I have had a burger that tastes as fresh and delicious as Blackwater Draw at half the price and I have come and had a burger that tastes like a frozen cold shit patty. They’ve never messed up my pulled pork order so that is what I usually go with and it is very good. I also really like their fries. If they had a day of the week where the special was a pulled pork basket I would go every week. But seriously you don’t know what you’re going to get here.

Their $ 3.50 liquor special is the best deal in college station! Don’t forget to see the rooftop :)

Early in the week in a college town, it’s hard to get things wrong but the corner bar(especially the rooftop) was really just right. Great spot to meet and talk with people(actually talk, not scream at) and have some great happy hour pints. Breezes kept smoke away and the service was awesome. Plus, prices under $ 3 for large shiners is hard to argue with especially as more places keeping jacking their prices up(looking at you backyard). Everyone has their own experience, but coming from someone who spends a lot of time in college towns for work, this was a great place to chill, talk, and have a great pint.

The service here is horrible. Took about 2 hours to get food. Some people didn’t even get their food. Beer was not carbonated. Do not come here for brunch.

First of all, I NEVER write reviews for anywhere so you know this can’t be good… The past 2 nights I ordered delivery from here through . Both nights I got the exact same thing: blackened chicken with loaded mashed potatoes(no green onions) and a side salad(extra ranch, lettuce/cheese/extra croutons ONLY). Last night: chicken was really good, the potatoes had green onions on them(yuck) so even after scraping them off the flavor was still there… now to the salad… they didn’t give me any dressing, zip, zilch, nada. Ugh! So I call, and of course I get this rude brat who tells me even though it was their fault, they won’t do anything about it. Then she tells me she doesn’t understand why I’m irritated because«it’s not like I was charged for it anyway». Really?!? Tonight: wanting to give it a second try I order the exact same thing 2 hours earlier than yesterday. The chicken was only grilled on one side and the other side was basically pasted with Cajun seasoning, as in it really came off in a paste form when I scraped off the excess. The potatoes were perfect and delicious. Now to the salad… they finally gave me dressing… but no croutons. Ugh! And let’s talk about the lettuce… whoever washed it didn’t dry it because there was(literally) half an inch of water in the Styrofoam container. Gross! I wanted a side salad, NOT lettuce soup! Moral of the story?! If you want only 33% of your food to be good then eat here.

Best burgers in CS! Thinking about the buns makes my mouth water seriously they are awesome — like Harvey Washbangers or Wings & More burgers. Drinks are decently priced and the rooftop is awesome — especially since dogs are allowed! I definitely recommend the burgers and the half & half appetizer(fried jalapenos and pickle chips). Only thing I wasn’t too fond of is the bartenders/servers trying to memorize orders instead of writing them down. Last time ours had to come back and clarify 3 – 4 times and still didn’t get it entirely right. like, they make this thing called paper that works really well for that.

Great atmosphere! Love the view from the 3rd deck! Great appetizer foods! Meals do take longer to cook with only one kitchen and 3 story’s! But overall great drinks and food! Great service too!

This review is based on the restaurants service and not its food. My wife, daughter and I arrived last Sunday mid afternoon after the BCS marathon. Was not crowded and had no problem getting a downstairs table. Took sometime before anyone came over but we eventually got a round of waters and beer. Wife and I placed our orders and daughter placed hers about 10 min. after that. 45 minutes later my daughter got her food but nothing for the rest of us. During this time no sign of waitress. Saw her a few times chatting with coworkers but she never came buy to wait on us. I had to walk to bar to get another beer because she never came to check on our table. Eventually we flagged her down and asked about the food. She said«that’s weird» and said she’d look into it. «3 more minutes» she reported. 10 minutes later still nothing. Finally we have up, left, and grabbed a slice of pizza next door. So pissed. Worst service EVER!!!

The food is always good and the drinks are good. The floor can be sticky at times, the bathrooms are scary, and the downstairs has that old beer bar smell. Love the rooftop on nice days to bring your dog !

Better now than in the past! This still isn’t the cleanest place in the world, but the ground floor has been remodeled, and bathrooms are a little less disgusting than before! As far as food goes… it’s great. The burgers and fish tacos are awesome. The service is pretty bad though. The bartenders talk to each other more than anything else. I’d probably go here more often if they had wifi available.

Food is good but service is terrible. Went here for lunch today and our waiter barely spoke to us and walked away before we’d even finished our order. When he brought us our food he threw it on the table and walked away without a word. Really disappointed. Also, waiter was awkwardly sweaty… like really sweaty.

Pretty neat little place on Northgate and the one of the few nearby rooftop bars around. They have 3? floors — the ground floor, a second floor, and the roof. I’ve never been to the second floor so I don’t know what’s there, but there’s a bar in both the ground floor and the rooftop which I thought was pretty cool. The rooftop gives a really nice view of Northgate and the campus. I got a Fish Taco and a Carnitas Taco. Fish taco was good, large portion of fish and good amount of garnishes. Carnitas taco was so-so. Flavor seemed really generic and didn’t really have spice flavors like at Chipotle or other Mexican restaurants. 3 stars for food, +1 star for the rooftop.

Came here to watch a football game on a Saturday. We were with someone who knew the lay of the land so he directed us upstairs when he saw that the first floor was rather busy. FYI we were not greeted, it seemed like a seat-yourself type of environment. The only seating that was open were the couches in the corner(where the sun was beaming down… think that’s why others skipped over them lol) so that’s where we sat. Once we were seated a waitress took our drink orders and she checked up on us every now and then so no real complaints there. I had an LIT and the hubs had a few beers. It was surprising that the bill only came out to be $ 15…wow! Gotta love college town prices. Overall everything was fine for us. Cold/cheap beer, clean-ish bathrooms, TV’s…not too shabby. We did not order food so I can’t really speak to that. I would definitely come back!

Service: when we walked in, no one greeted us, and we basically seated ourselves. Two 20-something-year-old girls were working… college type, so not exactly super service-oriented. We go upstairs, sit on the rooftop. She gets us water and drinks(water tasted nasty). We order, but the food takes FOREVER to come out. Minus some on that. The waitress also asked one of my friends, when she went up to the bar to ask for something, to bring one of the drinks back to the table. Um, service please? Food: big portions. You see these chicken strips??? They’re, like, one and half chickens!!! Most of us got the fish tacos. Dannggg, they practically give you a whole fish filet in each taco. They are VERY filling. The salsa and chips were good too. The flavor was good and the tilapia was juicy fresh. Definitely not Baja tacos like I’m used to in SoCal, but delicious in their own category. Drinks: water = nasty. Pineapple juice = not real, some kind of mix. Blah, but at least better than drinking the water. Price: $ 5 weekday deals are good price(it’s $ 5 flat, with tax). Even without the daily deal, you get bang for your buck. So, food was good, but service bad. So, if service was better, I might consider bumping up the rating.
