Kid Friendly! This is the pool in College Station you want to go to with elementary grade school kids! Although this pool isn’t as new or fancy as Adamson Lagoon, it is half the price($ 3 as opposed to $ 6) and it’s always less crowded. Don’t let this older facility shy you away. The staff here are always friendly, this pool has a huge shallow area for toddlers and non-swimmers, and a water slide for the kids. They also provide approved flotation vests for children to wear in the pool if needed. You’ll see several dozen red vests hanging off the standing rack in front of, and off to the side, of the changing room entrance. Very easy going, casual atmoshere. They have restrooms, shower and changing area all together, but no lockers to store your bags. Everyone leaves their bags on the picnic benches under the two shaded areas in the outdoor pool area. They also have plenty of chaise lounge chairs out in direct sunlight for sun bathers. Older kids(middle school & high school) would most likely prefer Adamson Lagoon on Anderson, off Southwest Pkwy. Newborns to toddlers may prefer Hallaran Pool.
