The Chicken Picatta is fantastic, not too oily and they don’t skimp on the capers! BYOB is always a plus at an Italian place. I will say that the first time we went we felt a bit rushed to get out. To be fair, they were getting ready to close by the time we finished our meal. Service is average, but it hasn’t ever been bad. The house tomato vinaigrette is tangy and fresh-tasting.

DONOTEATHERE!!! On multiple occasions I have found cockroaches in my food/red sauce. I totally understand once, because it some how snuck in. But it’s been about 3 times also this has happen to put close friends too, and I can’t stand looking at this place. Go anywhere else. I am 100% serious!

Bellisimo is a neighborhood restaurant for our family. We have been coming here for several years. Tonight, though will likely and unfortunately be our last visit. The decline in service and some of their«signature» dishes has been happening for the past several visits for us. Tonight my wife a daughter started their meal with a Caesar salad. The dressing on their salad was so watered down that it wouldn’t hold to the lettuce. It’s a shame that you have to pay extra for a watered down salad. My wife had Jerusalem Chicken that she said was very good. My daughter had the Chicken Marsala that said she liked. For me, though, I was not so fortunate. I ordered the cheese tortellini michaelangelo that was not good at all. It was supposed to have ham in the dish. I never found any(but only ate about a third of the meal so maybe it was in the other third). The«vodka» sauce tasted just like Campbell’s Tomato Soup. Now, don’t get me wrong Campbell’s Tomato Soup is pretty good when you’re at home and want something simple. But is not acceptable in an$ 11 meal. I order this dish almost each time I go here but this time it was awful. Last, I have to comment about our service. It took us almost 40 minutes to be served our meal. No apologies or checking on us to see if we needed water or bread or anything. The waiter abandoned us completely. Waiting for the check also stated to be another eternal wait. So, I eventually had to just go to the cashier to just payout instead of having it done at the table. It’s my last time in the restaurant. Sorry Bellisimo.

Excellent food for the price — seems absurdly cheap for what you get. Great place for a biz meeting as well, as its typically very quiet and low key.

Old but newly remodeled Dairy Queen type building meets standard but good Italian food restaurant. When walking up to the building from the outside, it looked like an older building that has been repurposed many times. Nothing seemed that well tended outside, but not necessarily shabby. A little outside love would go a long way. The inside struck me as an old Dairy Queen type establishment that has been fully remodeled. I was greeted by some friendly folks who sat me in my booth. The entire inside is freshly painted, all furniture I saw was in great shape, and the place was clean. More than good enough for me. Wait service was friendly and decent. I did have to ask for my coffee refills every time, and I kept saying«keep the cup full» with a smile. But it kept running empty. Other than that, service was good. I ordered a vegetarian pizza. I substituted jalapeños for the onions. It was delicious! I will be happy to go back and order it again. Nice simple home spun restaurant that is recommended.

This is the only and the best Italian restaurant in Colleyville. We found this place by accident and now it is the first place we think about when we want some original Italian food. I really recommend this place to eat with family, but it is also nice to go alone. The customer service is incredible, you feel part of a big family every time the waiters or the chef great you with a big smile. Please give this restaurant a try, you will not regret it.

Wow! Can’t believe it had taken us so long to try this place! Waiter(wish I could remember his name) was so attentive. Great service — amazing food and a very quaint restaurant. Penne with pink vodka sauce was delish! Can’t wait to come back!

1.5 stars overall… Sorry, but this just isnt as goodbas its made out to be! Maybe im just expecting too much, but italian means flavor, and it just wasnt there… Marinera was tomatoe sauce mixed with a little garlic… no oregano or other seasoning noted. The chicken parm was bearable… but far from exceptional. The chicken alfredo my wife got was just cream heated up… no cheesy flavor at all! Service was pretty good, but for the price… it just isnt worth a repeat.

OMG amazing Italian food! Local owners are so nice, helpings are GENEROUS, and the price is reasonable. It’s BYOB, which is fun too. Large dining area, great for lunch. Service is usually pretty fast too. Chicken Parm please!!!

I loved this place. I ordered the wrong thing. I really know better. The food was served in good portions. 12.95 entrée. I always want ambience. This place wasn’t bad. I do with the would divide the place into family style and big groups in one area. And couples looking for a more romantic experience in the other. They certainly have the room for it. Then you could put led candles on the tables and dim lights. So we are going back. I like that we can bring wine. Im just a real pain when it comes to wine selection.

The family that owns this place are so nice. The service is really good. But the food is gross. My family loves to eat here so I’ve tried a variety of dishes, but nothing is good. I recently began foregoing dinner if my family has decided to eat here. No.

I really enjoyed this place! I wish our server was a little more attentive(I had to wait for her to fill our drinks a couple times) but she was very friendly. Food was great, I had the chicken Jerusalem. The sauce had a lot of flavor, and the vegetables were tender. Definitely coming back! Also FYI they are BYOB.

This BYOB restaurant really hits the spot! I’ve been countless times, and everything I’ve gotten has been delicious and reasonably priced. The chicken is always tender, and they allow you to substitute any side of pasta for mixed vegetables. The bread served before dinner is always warm and fluffy. Want something you don’t see on the menu? The friendly staff is willing to work with the kitchen to make sure you’re happy. My only petty complaint– the powdered parmesan cheese. But other than that, this is a great place to stop for a meal!

This place has been around for years– before the build up in this area. It’s a cute family run place. The food is great. I love the soups. They are always full of flavor, rich and creamy. The penne vodka is one of my favorite dishes. The garlic bread is delicious. Skip the salad it’s nothing special. I actually end up getting to go from here more often than I dine in. It’s comfort food.

Fast traditional southern Italian favorites. Good lasagne and pasta. Can be a bit greasy, but the rolls are great, solid red sauce and BYOB. A good place to have a nice inexpensive night out.

The food is wonderful, which is not always the case at a BYOB place. It’s also dark and quiet inside. Nice place for a adult date. The only downside is the carpet. It smells old & musty and truly needs to be pulled out. There are tears all over. It has to be decades old. Almost ruined my appetite. Fix this, please. It’s pretty gross.

It seems like Bellisimo has been here forever, and there is good reason for it. They serve great Italian food at a reasonable price in a homey atmosphere with friendly service and we can even bring our own wine. What’s not to like? Although I’ve been here many times over the years, only recently have I been back with a group of friends. Even though portions are ample, only two of our group of 8 needed a to-go box. The house salads are crispy fresh iceberg lettuce primarily. The bread is too good. His tortellini with a vodka sauce was super delicious and my penne arrabbiata was quite good, though mild flavored(it perked up nicely with a few hot red pepper flakes.) We need to remember to get back here again soon.

We very much enjoyed our experience at Bellisimo’s Restaurant. Although the decorations are dated, it gives you the feel of «homestyle» dining. Very clean atmosphere! Our waitress was very hospitable, knowledgeable and attentive. She made sure our food was delivered in a timely fashion and kept our water glasses full. I ordered one of the tortellini dishes(very yummy!) while my spouse ordered the white clam pasta. His was just ok… but our rolls and salad with house dressing were enjoyable as well. We will definitely try out this location again. I just recommend that he orders something different.
