Not prepared for the special night. With that being said, I had lunch there earlier that week and it went very smooth. The meal was outstanding and my husband and I will be definitely returning.

I have visited this establishment multiple times. The owner is truly passionate and cares for every customer that walks through the doors. I have had the lobster bisque which was excellent. I also had mini sliders and they were great. I encourage everyone to visit this restaurant.

Disappointing to say the least. My wife, son and I went to Citrus Bistro in Colleyville for Easter Brunch and will never return. The only thing French about this bistro is the Owner’s accent and apparent surprise that we were not happy with the experience. The food, service and overall experience was nothing less than lackluster and the owner and Manager made little to no effort to make it right. They should be embarrassed. It began when we were seated, and two adults were given one menu to share. Meanwhile, the bus staff was busy delivering bread/butter to several tables around us, but mysteriously overlooked our table right smack in the middle of the dining room. I had to ask our waiter if we could have some bread, to which he responded, «Sure. We have plenty.» Upon waiting about 10 minutes, I then asked our waiter if we could order, and more importantly get my son’s(18 mos. old) meal ordered. When our 1st course was finished, my wife and my plates sat finished on the table and no one made any attempt to clear them. Instead, a male and female bus boy/girl were engaged in a lengthy conversation directly overlooking our table. Even after I stacked our empty plates and bread plates, no one removed them. When our entrees arrived, the waiter that delivered them, had no where to put the new plates. Within a minute of the entrees being delivered, my wife alerted our waiter that her fish(Filet of Sole Dynamite) was stone cold in the center. Our waiter promptly removed it, then returned less than 2 minutes later with a plate that was«extremely hot». When my wife touched it, it was barely warm, and the fish was as cold as when they originally delivered it. She then cancelled her entrée all together. My entrée(Roasted Pork Loin) was over-cooked and tough, but covered in a dijon mustard sauce so thick, you could barely taste the pork anyway. It was at this point that I informed our waiter that we would be leaving and that I would like to settle up the bill. He returned with a check for my entrée and said«thank you». I was then approached by another waitress, who did make an effort to apologize for my experience, after seeing this all unfold from the tables she was attending to. Not the Manager. Not the Owner. They all disappeared. And they made no effort to even offer to box the desert that I paid for. If I was in charge, I would have boxed up both deserts before even delivering the check and made every effort to apologize. But that’s apparently not the way Citrus Bistro serves their customers. I’ve traveled the entire US and eaten in my fair share of fine dining establishments and French restaurants. This is not a French restaurant by any stretch of the imagination. The French pride themselves on a fine dining experience — not simply delivering sub-par food in a white-table cloth restaurant. If you’re considering Citrus, please be aware.

VERY nice! My husband and I ate here Friday night and I wish we’d come earlier to this restaurant. I think my problem is I forget about it — I know that it is tucked back here off 26, but I don’t see it when I’m driving by, and don’t think about it. We are definitely coming back. The food is really good, service is fast and efficient, and the atmosphere is calm and sophisticated. Very pretty dining room. There was a musician in the dining room on the night we ate, playing jazz. Overall a very nice atmosphere.

We eat regularly at Citrus Bistro. The food is outstanding. The owner & staff are friendly. We were being led to a table one over from the fireplace on Saturday night. I asked if we could sit by the fireplace. They said of course then jumped to clean the table and reset for us. The past few times I have been in they had a live entertainer — Chris Soto. He plays the guitar, keyboard, and synthesizer. I love the music which is always at a perfect volume to allow for conversation. We had the tuna platter and calamari for appetizers; house salad with delicious citrus oil & vinegar dressing; sea bass, scallops and fillets for entrees; then the house specialty fig cake with caramel cream sauce for dessert. A perfect evening!

My wife and I chose Citrus Bistro for our 14th wedding anniversary dinner, and I’m glad we did. We both enjoyed our four-course lobster dinners by the fireplace and cozy atmosphere. This was our first experience at Citrus Bistro, but we plan on visiting again soon to try the Dover Sole.

The most delicious secret in Colleyville. The atmosphere is beautiful and quiet. The hospitality is above and beyond. The food is out of this world. And if you try nothing else, try the date cake! An amazing experience and I cannot wait to come back for more!

My wife and I had a very nice meal here. The interior is very modern and stylish. Our server was young but attentive and efficient. We started with salmon ceviche, which was properly cooked with acid rather than heat(not always the case at many restaurants), it had a great texture and flavor. I had the she crab soup, which was very rich and flavorful. My wife had a salad that she enjoyed. Entrees were broiled walu with lobster ravioli for me, and sea bass for my wife. Both fish were very well prepared and flavorful. My lobster ravioli in particular was delicious, and the pasta was made in-house. Dessert was orange blossom crème brûlée for me and chocolate mousse for my wife. The crème brûlée was good but not great, and was the only weak spot in the entire meal. Overall, one of the best meals I’ve had out in some time.

Made very unwelcome at bar: apparently on Monday and Tuesday’s they have ½ price glasses and bottles of wine, however a single diner was made unwelcome in favor of regulars and couples. Most disappointing as I have frequented Citrus Bistro many times and this is the first time that I felt anything but well tended.

We often frequent Citrus for as it is close to the house and we have always had great luck here. We mainly go for happy hour and try appetizers. We went a couple of weeks ago and, while we haven’t ever been disappointed, this time around we were blown away! We tried the jumbo crab cake and the Charleston She-Crab soup which were both very delicious. The crab cake was thick with lots of crab vs. fillers which made it very flavorful; almost had a delicate flavor to it. My husband travels some for work and he said this was better than the crab cakes he gets on the eastern coast! The soup had a light seafood-based broth that seemed like a very light creamy broth. It too was very favorable, not too rich at all. We both look forward to getting both of those items again!

Quiet little bistro decorated with Orange, green, And yellow accents tucked away on 26. The staff is very attentive. Crab cakes were yummy. We had veal and fish. Both were tasty. Choc mousse was a must have. Sign up for the specials distributed via email.

Dined here several times… Consistently delicious. Great authentic french food, Great service, and great soft guitar music. Surprisingly this place has the best lobster in town(I’m from the easy coast and have high standards :)). They also have creative and different specials every weekend. Lovely place.

My first impression and favorite thing was the awesome mixologist, Michael. He could create anything and it tasted perfect. He was courteous and helpful. We were escorted to our white table cloth set up by the live music. The live music made for a great ambiance. I felt like the décor was a little mismatched and lighting was a little high for the supreme service and vibe the restaurant was putting off. We were immediately addressed after being seated for drinks and to welcome us. We placed an order for two appetizers, the crab cake and the hickory smoked salmon. The crab cakes are terrible. The taste was a little too tart and the consistency just wasn’t right.(Too close to frozen) the smoked salmon was out of this world incredible. For entrees, I ordered the 8 ounce filet which was a generous 8. ;) it came out exquisitely prepared. The steak was truly melt in your mouth good with a touch of char. The salmon was also perfect prepared. It was flaky and delish. The side of green beans, squash and purple potatoes were some of the freshest I’ve had at a restaurant. They were served in a delicious but unique manner. Overall, I love the food and service. Try it out.
