We live on the green trail, less than ½ a mile from the park, so it’s certainly convenient. My only complaints would be the lack of decent bathrooms and the fact that the bright lights of the sports complex pollute the night sky. The playgrounds are standard. The boardwalk and trails are lovely. It’s fun to feed ducks some fresh fruit and veggies(you should never feed ducks bread, people).

Got to be the best park in Memphis. I took a walk on the board walk which is more than a mile walk. Saw a deer, lots of Birds and Butterflies. The trail takes you all the way to the wolf River. With a clear view of the river. At that point you can get off the board walk and continue the exploring. Or take the board walk back to the main park. It was a great day. This will be my primary destination when I want to birding. Unlike so many wildlife preservation areas it is actually open and you can see the wildlife. Most areas is just a wall of brush.

Clean and safe equipment with nice turf for little ones. Always room to play and plenty if benches. I wish there was a baby bucket swing and easier access to bathrooms and the splash park. A vending machine for cold drinks would be nice. Parking is easy and the soccer fields are very nice. Sand pit is a unique addition. Drive slow here I see cars racing by and little kids running everywhere.

There is a great play area for kids here. Lots of stuff to engage them and even a sand pit. There is a shaded area for parents to sit or kids to have lunch. I’d give them more stars but I have a couple issues: The spray park area is not within walking distance so on hot days you have to choose one of the other. The swings are those giant red seats, most of the locking mechanisms are broken. Only 1 swing actually latches. Having 1 seat is great for those children who need it but I’d rather the other style of swings for children. I have yet to figure out where the hell the bathroom is in this park.
