Where do I start? The absolute worst. I called to see if they would accept our insurance. They said i would have to drive up there to show them my insurance card and id. Strange that they couldn’t just check. So I check the hours and drive up there, they were closed for cleaning, never told me until i got there. so i had to drive home and then drive back yet again. they shot a copy of my id and sent me on my way. the 3rd drive up there was my daughters appt. They wouldnt allow my wife to accompany my scared 8 year old to the dental room. So my wife threatened to just leave, and then they relented and said ok. rough bedside manner, scared my daughter and scolded her. had her crying. saw her for 10 mins, didnt do x rays, and left lots of tarter on her teeth. My little girl left crying. We scheduled an appt with another dentist who couldn’t believe we had just left dr maiers office a week earlier. he said her teeth didnt look touched. He cleaned my daughters teeth, took x rays and told us that this doctor is known for taking insurance money and not actually doing anything. Never again. Please stay away. Horrible experience. The office staff and dental techs were nice however.

I have been coming to Collinsville General Dentistry for atleast 10 years, I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Maier is very friendly, and willing to take the time to talk things over with you. I am not usually a fan of going to the dentist but after a root canal and a crown I have no complaints. If you need a new dentist I would give him a call.
