I called, mentioned that I just needed straps altered on a bridesmaid dress(a super simple job), and the lady very rudely cut me off and said«I don’t do formal wear,» angrily, as if I should have known(from her non-existent website?), and how dare I even ask then hung up on me. A lesson for all: don’t you dare calling Jean’s alterations if you need formal wear altered!

Agree on all accounts with the first reviewer! Jean did excellent work on shirts, pants, and a suit that I took to her. She took a bit to get things back to me because she was backed up but she told me this from the beginning and had things ready on time. Her prices were great and her work was excellent.

I called around to several tailor shops only to have them tell me it would be at least 10 days to mend a seam on a pair of pants. I called Jean’s who told me to bring them on in. Jean is a wonderful little older lady who reminds me of my grandmother. She was able to fix my pants in just a few minutes. I also brought in a sport coat because the buttons where about to fall off. She fixed both for $ 5! That is unheard of! I was so pleased that I tipped her the full price of the bill. You can’t ask for better service. I will now take all of my alteration needs to Jean’s.
