Was here for another child’s 4th birthday party. I have to say that I like the set up more than the Jumpin Jack’s setup. Each bounce house«room» is for the exclusive use of the party attendees, so you know that every kid and parent you see is someone who was invited to that party. It felt a bit smaller than Jump-It(another popular bounce house venue), but they made up for it with the air hockey tables and other arcade game options. The staff was friendly, but the into video about the«safety rules» is pretty boring and was probably lost on most of the toddlers. Also… you can have balloons, but you have to pay extra for them and they’re pretty expensive. Overall, it probably isn’t as profitable of a venue(also I think the party pricing was slightly cheaper than Jumpin Jack’s), but it felt more intimate and less crowded. If we end up doing one of these parties, I would prefer Pump It Up to Jumpin Jack’s. Note — the second time we went, the second room was all disco and black lighting(maybe it was broken the first time?). Kids loved it, parents found it hard(sometimes) to keep track of their offspring in the dark.

I’ll admit that I go here with the kids because it’s close, but they have tough open bounce hours and it’s not set up well. They have a lot of stuff but shuttle you through rooms… So each room gets old. We did a birthday there which was okay, but we also did one at jumping jacks which was better.

I have been to many Pump it Up Parties in the last few years and have been very happy. However since they changed management in the last year, customer service has been terrible. We had our child’s birthday party there a few months ago, and the owner had overcharged us by over-counting the # of heads who attended the party. He would not budge and insisted that his assistants counted correctly. He also asked us to tip his 3 assistants which we had never had to do under prior management. The owner is not responsive to phone calls. We weren’t able to give a headcount until the day before the party because they did not call until the day before. We had called a week before to give our headcount, but they would not take it. They said to wait until they call us. Bottom line is. .. if you decide to do a party here, make sure that you and the owner agree to the # of heads and the food/drinks that are purchased BEFORE you make the final payment. Once you make the final payment, they will not make any adjustments to the bill if there is an error. One plus about this place is that it is a private party, but that’s about it. I miss the prior management.. . they were very friendly and great customer service! We will not do a party here again. If you are looking for an inflatable party place, Jumpin Jacks in Hatfield is great. The only drawback is that it is not a private party. However there are more things for the kids to do at Jumpin Jacks than Pump it Up. Little Gym in Hatfield & Gymboree in Montgomeryville are good too! I’ve attended parties there and had my kids’ parties there, and everyone who works there are friendly and service is great!

My daughter’s friend has a party here. We notice there is mold growing in the water cooler tray and dust collecting on the slide. When was the last time this place got cleaned? I tried not to think about what else is lurking here.

How does one describe the usual toddler/preschooler party? Generally it’s an event similar to attempting to herd cats, but even more exhausting. Between corralling the kids, coordinating the birthday singing and the cake, and dealing with hyper, sugar-loaded children, it’s not always the easiest thing in the world. But this year for my daughter’s fourth birthday, we went with a party at Pump It Up of Chalfont. My husband had been taking Zara to Pump It Up for some time now during the times they had free play. He was always happy about how much fun Zara had there and how fabulously the place was run. So he suggested having Zara’s birthday party there. The booking and planning was pretty easy. We booked a party for 25 kids, mailed invitations and directions from their site, ordered the pizza and drinks and just showed up. And the showing up was the fun part. At other places for parties you still need to do the setting up and making sure that the gifts are collected properly, all while greeting guests and wrangling toddlers and preschoolers. Not so at Pump It Up. We walked in with our party supplies, cupcakes, extra food trays etc. and the party manager and her staff greeted us and took everything to our party room for setup. Yes, you read that right, they do the setting up! The kids started in one of the bounce rooms being constantly monitored by staff for safety, in addition to the myriad parents who were there. Midway through the party time the kids were ushered into another bounce room that had an obstacle course, a basketball court and other fun activities that the kids adored. Even the smaller children who attended had little ride on toys and things to play with even if they did not go into the bouncers. The staff consulted with me about the party room set up, such as where I wanted the cupcakes to be and how the tablecloth should be arranged. But I was back out snapping pictures and having fun with everybody in a very short time. After the play period was over, they arranged everybody so that a group picture could be obtained. Then hand sanitizer was dispensed and the kids were ushered into the party room. There the pizza we ordered was set out and waiting for the kids along with juice boxes. The adults were served by the party staff. They arranged the happy birthday singing with the guest of honor sitting in a giant inflatable throne. There were also balloons and goodie bags for the guests. After we were done they packed up the presents that they had collected, as well as any left over items we had brought and carried them out to the car for us. Bonus! Everyone had a wonderful time and I finally had time to enjoy the party rather than running around like a chicken without a head. Pump It Up is the place to have your kid’s party. We’re actually thinking about booking well in advance for next year.
