Returned here recently. We ordered hamburgers rather than a dinner. It was pretty good but a bit pricey. This weekend we drove past and observed only a few parked cars on our way to another nearby restaurant with a similar menu. The placed was packed with people waiting for a table. Why? The food is better, a better menu, less expensive, and more side dishes included with the entre. This place needs to have a specialty item like pizza, lower their prices a bit, add a salad and vegetable with their entres to compete. Hope they do.

The dudes of Dickerville know what’s up! My friends and I were in town for a bachelorette weekend and stumbled upon Dickerville right down the road from us(The name alone was perfect for the«themed» weekend). Nick the owner and the other guys treated us like royalty putting on a dance party, giving us drinks, tshirts. And balls! Meatballs! Needless to say we went here both nights we were in town and it definitely made our weekend complete with many great memories! Try the dickerville IPA! It’s fab

We have been waiting for four years for something to go into the space that is now occupied by Dickerville. The building was an eyesore and now it’s beautiful and welcoming — a great optic for the town as you head down Paw Paw Lake Rd. Walking in the door you go through the bar area which seems a bit awkward to me… you’ll see nice lofty space with natural light coming in from the atrium windows but very little floor space so it feels like the bar is way too big for the room. The larger room where the entertainment will be is a bit cold and doesn’t have any ambiance at all. We didn’t see the upstairs but I thought the fireplace room and the outdoor patio were both charming and inviting. I’m assuming alot of work went into this renovation but it seems like they did keep some of the original fixtures(i.e. the stalls in the bathroom looked pretty beat-up). All in all I think the atmosphere alone is not something that would bring me back to Dickerville. The service was so friendly and very prompt and attentive — something we didn’t expect given they’ve only been open less than two weeks. But Victoria was super nice and even helped us arrange a dessert for our friends birthday(a wonderful berry cheesecake that was so good we brought another piece home with us). She is probably very new and needs some time to get to know their menu better… she appeared tentative when we questioned ingredients and such. But she got our order right and delivered our food fast and hot so we’ll cut her slack on the other things that should come with more experience. They have a nice list of craft beers — long enough to offer variety but not overwhelming. They were out of iced tea(a miss) but the beer my husband ordered was very good. We started with an appetizer of the cornmeal dusted calamari — it was a bit heavy on the cornmeal but the flavor was good. Our entrees consisted of the Bacon, Avocado Cobb Salad(very tasty with a fresh blue cheese dressing and lots of crumbles but too light on the bacon), crab cakes on top of rice(also good) and the cornmeal crusted Walleye — it was the best of our dishes, very fresh and with nicely balanced flavors. The rice and coleslaw side dishes were very good too. Dickerville has lots of potential so 3 stars for a first visit within the first month of their opening is appropriate but I am confident, as we experience more of the menu and their service gets polished, that a future review might kick up to 4 stars.

Good selection of beers(Dickerville IPA is solid) nice menu with many common choices(burgers, sandwiches, pizza) with one or two unique condiments on many of the items. Great atmosphere. Very nice place. Will be back soon.
