Yey, I a fan. Wings are perfect, crispy chicken is definitely the best. their staff is a little slow but other things? Supergood, well except the delivery is not that good because sometimes they are not in time. Cluck has also several good sauce. Eating wings here is good.

I am not a fan of Cluck U wings, but I’d never tried their fried chicken. Glad I gave them a shot, it was fantastic! Good quality chicken, nice batter, not too oily… pretty much perfect. The fries were thick cut with a nice seasoning… no complaints there. This place is run down looking on the inside, and the parking lot is a nightmare. When you pull out, you pretty much reverse into the highway. Be careful.

I’m surprised this place even has any kinda customers. Every time Iv gone it’s a issue. Closed an hour before their corporate site says so. The few times I have actually been able to get food it’s cold and really oily. The place is also always a mess. I’ve walked out with stains on my clothes when I haven’t even ordered anything with sauce on it

The boneless wings are awesome – good flavors to choose from. This is a good place to order for a group from for a football game or a party. I’m never disappointed.

I wanna give no stars! I have been eating cluck u for about 20 years! Every time I order extra sauce for my chicken at this Colonia store. They have never done it! Also the delivery guy came to my door with a lit cigarette in his mouth. I call up to complain. The answer I got was«Uh dude I don’t even know what to say!» I refuse to ever go to this cluck u ever again!

I think they have recently changed owners. The atomic BBQ sauce is way hotter than it used to be. Wings are smaller. Tasted like they were fried in old oil. Got an order of 20 wings to go, with the sauce on the side. They gave us a tiny little container of sauce, and no celery. Don’t think we will be going back. Not horrible, but not as good as it used to be.

Place — greater than expected. Saw a lot of good spots but this one is one of the best. Don’t really know I am hook with this kind of place but I guess they are simply the best. Spacious dining area. Food — Much better wings. Hot & spicy wings was superB, its hot but I keep on chewing everything on my plate. Taste really great. Service — Not much to mention. They are not that quick, not that slow, maybe an average rating would do.

When I first started making road trips north of I-195 and still lived in Camden County, I discovered the humorous ‘Cluck-U’ stickers posted around the town centers that were home to the restaurants. I think I went once when there was still a location in New Brunswick but can’t remember the experience well enough to comment on it. After telling a buddy of mine at work that I had never been to Cluck U, he convinced me that we needed to go. One day during lunch, myself and a few other co-workers took a ride to this location. Inside it is clean and well-kept. Since my first visit, I’ve been here one other time and both times we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. Cluck U restaurants generally seem to be in college towns or in more downtown areas surrounded by bars. This location is an exception. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and chose their mild sauce which came with fries and a drink. The prices are pretty fair for the combo meals and you certainly get enough food. The sandwich is ok but seems like it would be a lot better after a night out, hence the location factor mentioned above. I don’t go to Chick-fil-A often but I’d rather go there for a chicken sandwich before coming back to Cluck U. Although the sandwich was good, the chicken to bread ratio was severely off balance. I felt like every bite I took was more bread than anything else. The fries on the other hand were tasty. I’d come back but wouldn’t go out of my way. If you’re looking for a decent chicken sandwich that won’t cost you than Cluck U ain’t a bad option.

Updating my review because I gave this place another chance after not ordering from them for over a year. Well that was a horrible decision and I was quickly reminded why I stopped ordering from them in the first place. We decided to order the fried chicken meal, and boy was that a huge mistake which I’ll get into below. On the phone we were told they had no mashed potatoes at all and they are made in the morning then refrigerated. I’m gonna assume they are made weekly and refrigerated and I’ll explain why below. I’ll start with the chicken… HORRIBLE!!! The chicken not only was fried in old oil(it was so obvious by the taste) but also it appeared to be refried and was VERY dark. If you want fried chicken go ANYWHERE but here! Popeyes, Chicken Galore, Shoprite etc. just avoid it here. No mashed as I mentioned so we got coleslaw, fries, and Mac & cheese. The Mac & cheese was the worst I’ve ever had. Worse than the cheap boxed stuff even. It had no flavor and was dry. The cheese tasted so cheap. The fries were soggy when they got here, which to be fair is how most take out places are. Coleslaw was alright, not great but not bad. I’m gonna assume it’s ordered in and not made in house. The biscuits were greasy and tasted old. Overall everything tastes reheated or microwaved. After spending $ 31 and change we demanded our money back because we couldn’t eat the food. We were offered credit and denied it as we will never order from Cluck U Chicken again. We were refunded the money without an argument like I was expecting because the staff knew everything we said about the food was correct. Overall just avoid this place unless it’s your only option. The wings are covered in sauce to make up that they are microwaved. Seriously if you want wings go to Buffalo Wild Wings. The chicken sandwiches from what I remember weren’t bad and a good size. However if you can go to Burger Express instead. For the value you pay here for reheated/microwaved food you are basically better off taking your business anywhere else. I will say in my dealings with him the owner Dan Ross is very nice and has always been good at making good for the number of mistakes this place has made, but the place is just very poorly run. The staff is not good and the food is usually reheated or made earlier in the day. Once again unless it’s your only option there are a number of other local businesses better than this place.

At Cluck U Chicken the sauce is apparently more important than the chicken. I’ve only ordered the wings here to go. I’ve tried nuclear, atomic, traditional buffalo, and mild sauces. Nothing pleasant or enjoyable in anything hotter than atomic unless you’re a sadist and want to win their stupid«waiver-required» dare. They need to improve the chicken preparation quality. I doubt they cook on order as I prefer crispy wings which I did not get. I live 2 minutes away.(Did I hear a microwave timer go off?) It might also have to do with the fact they drench the wings in sauce, a sort of chicken and bone death stew. The place is run by overly lax«college kids» dressed in whatever college kids wear, which for a chain restaurant detracts from their cooking abilities, not that I’d ever consider them«wing specialists. If I want soggy wings, I order from Papa John’s. Hot wings should be fried crispy then shaken with a sufficient amount of sauce to coat them. There’s a long list of places besides Buffalo Wild Wings that do better but charge about the same per wing or less than CUC: basically any chain like Fridays, Tuesdays, Applebees, Chevy’s, and also J.J. Bittings, and even Chinese takeout places. Pretty much anywhere else you go…

Ah Cluck U. I haven’t been here, in… forever it seems like. I used to visit the Morristown location frequently when I lived that way. I’ve passed the Woodbridge location probably a hundred times and never thought to pop in. Visited Menlo and was heading out of the mall when my boyfriend mentioned he was hungry. I was too, and we were trying to figure out where to eat. We didn’t want to actually sit anywhere, and I’m pretty much anti-fast food so it seemed we were at an impasse. Then I remembered about Cluck U! Pulled in at 9pm on a Thursday night and the place was completely empty. This location is at the end of a tiny strip mall and sometimes the parking situation can be hairy, but luckily — not tonight. I wanted to keep it relatively healthy so I ordered the original grilled chicken sandwich — basically a grilled breast on a roll with lettuce, tomato and some ranch sauce. The beau got the buffalo chicken salad and we ordered a 5 piece of buffalo boneless wings in their spicy chili sauce. The sandwich was good — however the roll was GINORMOUS and my little chicken boob was lost in there. I ended up eating it with only half of the roll. The chicken tenders on the other hand… sweet baby bearded jesus… the sweet chili sauce is sooo freaking good! Wow, I just could not get over how tasty the sauce is. This was my boyfriend’s first visit ever to Cluck U and he was very satisfied with the order as well. My love for Cluck U is renewed!
