Great food and fast delivery for the price! I do notice that their prices change on busy nights (Fri-​Sun) rather than if you order during the week. Overall, fresh and yummy!

I like this place for its prices and its speediness.
I also find it to be one of the least greasy Chinese food places in the area. The food always tastes fresh instead of appearing to have been sitting there all day.
Staff is friendly and they keep good hours.

I have to preface this review by saying that I grew up in New York, and have been eating both Americanized and authentic Chinese food since I’m an infant. I also cook it at home now and then when motivated. So, I think I can speak semi-​knowledgeably (I’m no expert, but I know good from bad).
I’ve been living in this area for many years. I have never been able to find Chinese food which lives up to what I grew up eating anywhere in Union County other than one or two which aren’t close by my home, and certainly do not deliver. So, I keep trying places which I have missed and Desiree Wok was one of them.
Tonight, we ordered dinner based on the online reviews. It was a complete waste of our money. From the stale crispy noodles to the over sauced ribs. The egg drop soup had no flavor to speak of, nor did the pork fried rice — bland as can be. We also got sweet and sour chicken which was dripping grease. The cream cheese wantons — a guilty pleasure I rarely order, but had a craving for, were also too oily. Oh, and for that matter, all of it had an odd undertone of being cooked in unclean oil. They also told me it would take ½ hour to get to my house, which is very close by, and it arrived in about 10 minutes leading us to think none of it was cooked to order.
I personally couldn’t eat more than a few bites. My partner thought it was ok enough but he also doesn’t have the background that I do.
Perhaps for those who never have known really good Chinese food, perhaps this is adequate, but for those of us who do, it’s just another poor excuse for this wonderful type of cooking. I’ll keep on with my search for a more eatable choice.

The best Chinese delivery place in town. The food is priced pretty well and is delicious. The best generals chicken I have ever had. Very fast delivery.

This is definitely the best Chinese food in the area! Before moving here I didn’t think it was that hard to get Chinese right but all the other places in the area are horrible. Fast and average prices. Don’t let the look of the place turn you off!

I’ve been going here for a while now and the food is quite good, with the prices being a bit higher than the surrounding places. Although I like the food, the place needs to be cleaned up and renovated. I normally do takeout and go there to order and wait. I don’t like sitting there and what I see, the place doesn’t seem to clean. Although the food is good, I will find another place that appears cleaner.

Honestly, one of the best delivery Chinese places to go. Food is always good, delivery is super fast, and prices are great. Boneless spare ribs are the best I’ve had. General tso’s has great sauce and texture. Not too crispy, not too mushy. They always make a homemade spicy mustard on request. It’s very powerful. Beware. Use it sparingly. This is my go to for Chinese takeout. Never disappointed.
