Best Way Disposal

We had a horrible experience with Rocky Mtn Disposal when we lived at a rental, so when we bought a home we chose Bestway and I’m so glad we did. The prices are reasonable and recycling gets picked up every week. Before Bestway, our recycling got picked up twice a month and it would be overflowing each time. Today I opened my garage to take the bins to the curb and got sidetracked and completely forgot about taking them out. The guys rang my doorbell to remind me, which I really appreciate because they could’ve just as easily driven by without reminding me.

Within a few hours, Phil the owner emailed me and apologized for the bad service. He asked me to call Judd, the GM, which I did. More apologies and a credit for 1 month. Great work, turned a bad situation into a good one. I will stay with them.

I signed up with Best Way about a month ago out of frustration with our typical trash disposal company’s in the Colorado Spring area. Everything from setting up the service to the carry out service has been flawless thus far and I’m very happy. On the other hand, I’m very disappointed and will never recommend using Waste Management or Waste Systems Inc. I would rate this company 5 stars, but its only been month.

So far I have been with this company a little over six months. In that time there have been several service failures, on their part. I have sent payment for service in via check and both times somehow my check has been lost in the «shuffle.» Both checks were sent out nearly half a week before the due date, both times my trash service has been «suspended» without prior notification. To add to the frustration, the entire Month of September While I was away taking care of a family emergency my house sitter took out the trash on Wednesday night. Each week Best way failed to pick it up. I came home the first week of October and assumed that there must have been a mistake on the day that I told her to take the trash out so I took it out Wednesday night and have left it there all week. Still no Trash pick up! Then to my surprise I get a phone call from Best way telling me my account is delinquent and service has been suspended. I of course asked if it had also been suspended for the entire month of September. The associate on the phone said not to their knowledge and that if the trash was not picked up that it was my responsibility to notify them. (While being away for a family emergency.)(also note that this is not the first time that my trash has not been picked up) I was informed that there might be an additional fee for the Extra trash accumulated though it was scheduled to be picked up. The place that the trash is stored the rest of the week is up along side the house completely visible from the street. So, For all of you that the trash man goes the extra mile, that is obviously not the case for this route.
After I paid the lady over the phone, to ensure that at the very least the Mountain of garbage careening out of the receptacles at the end of my drive would be picked up, and asked to speak to the manager I was put on hold for ten minutes just to have the line disconnect. Absolutely ridiculous.

Every once in a while you run into a business that has clearly put an emphasis on customer service and quality. In an industry that is known for jacking up your rates and leaving your empty cans rolling down the street best way has blown me away. After picking up my trash they regularly return my empty cans to the back of my house where I store them. This morning in a rush I forgot to put the cans out and they pulled the cans from behind my house and emptied them. Great company don’t be a fool and call anyone else.

Bestway Disposal is amazing! Unfortunately, we forget to take our trash out every now and then and alot of the other trash services around town would just pass by our house if the trash isn’t on the curb. Every time we forget to put our trash out, they run up to the side of our house to get it! They even dump trash cans that are not provided by them and they’ll take anything we set out even of it’s past the limit! Best trash service in Colorado Springs!

WOW!!! You guys go above and beyond! We were not able to open our gate to pull out our trash cans this morning because of the snow. Your guy rang my doorbell to make sure I get my trash picked up. He was able to open it and took our garbage. THANK YOU for going the extra mile!

We’ve been with Bestway for approximately 2 years. We appreciate all the little extras they do for us. Our Representative is Sherri Muelhoefer, she’s wonderful. Sherri is knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for her customers. I highly recommend them to our friends and family.

The owners of this company are very responsive to any problems/​complaints. 5 stars for sure.

Was with another well known service for years. The unending price increases over ten years that went from approx $ 35 every 3 months managed to ‘creep’ up to where I was then paying $ 115 every 3 months. They began adding fuel surcharge that always managed to up but never down when fuel prices fluctuated. I term that greed.
Shopped around and found Bestway. I cut my bill over half. Gaining a much appreciated recycle bin as well hence more disposal that we never approach filling. The gents who do the pickup are excellent, energetic, and have to say each time I have called customer service that too has been excellent. Bestway could not be more night and day, them being day. My elderly father has since changed service too and he notes the difference too. Bestway = Top Shelf.

We use these guys for trash outs and on flips. The service is great, very quick and reliable.

I have never seen hustle like I saw today from the two gentlemen taking turns driving and dumping trash barrels into the big red truck. These two guys were more efficient than the four-​man teams I have happened to have seen in past neighborhoods where I lived. One drives a few feet as the other jogs along side the truck. These two sinewy fellas are tossing about the big ‘olé brown barrels like they’re office buckets. They drive through our community like Sherman through Atlanta, never stopping until every house has been serviced. They must be freakish world class athletes because the strength and stamina they require to sustain the pace at which they work is extraordinary. Most importantly, they take the time and have the respect to carefully place each barrel back into the driveway, and give any customer who happens to be outside a friendly wave and genuine smile. These guys love their work and are impressive professional examples for anyone seeking to demonstrate how hard teamwork gleans results. I hope their management fully appreciates the hard work, commitment and productivity these gentlemen bring to the Bestway organization. It was among the most impressive displays of work ethic I have seen… ever. God Bless those guys. Thank you for your great work.

We were with another disposal company that went out of business with no notice to its customers. I called around to get a new company and Bestway had good prices and could pick up my garbage on a day that works for me. They even came by to pick up the stuff I had before they got paid. Their workers have knocked on my door when I’ve forgotten to put the trash out. In addition, they offer SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING for just $ 5 a month. Every week I fill my 54 gallon wheeled can (provided by Bestway) with recyclables and put my 1 – 2 little bags of garbage in another can. Bestway picks up both in separate trucks on the same day.
