I bought a bow from these guys over the phone. At the time I was told they didn’t have time to discuss accessories, but they’d give me five percent off when I came in. I ended up bringing my own accessories to have put on it since I could get them for about 50% off elsewhere. The dad spent the first hour telling me I got terrible cheap stuff and should have bought through him because he could have given me a better deal. He didn’t stop until I showed him the invoice. When my quiver and stabilizer weren’t working with the bow, I picked different ones off their shelf. This was his opportunity to give me the deal he’d been talking about. He gave me fifteen percent off instead, better than five percent, but I could have saved $ 30 more by going to the original place. I definitely won’t be returning to this shop.
The son who helped me seemed efficient and while he did make a few passing remarks about my accessories, he was non confrontational and pleasant to work with. I left the shop satisfied with his service and the time he spent with me.
I hope the father retires and leaves the business to his sons soon, at which time I’ll consider frequenting their shop.
