Brakes Plus is an unethical, price gouging company that you will seriously regret using!

Never been there before but decided to give them a try… These guys r honest and respectful… They actually show you what is wrong, explain to you everything to help you understand what is wrong as well… Plus, very reasonable in prices… Check the website for coupons… They will honor them. I will go back… Thanks guys.

Told me 99 on the phone. Went in knowing what I needed, just don’t have the space or tools to do it myself. After their inspection I was told it’d be somewhere between 330 – 370. For front pads, some misc, and the usual upselling. Pass. The guy was great on the phone and initially but after I turned them down he got an attitude with me. Going elsewhere for sure.

Taken my car in twice (in 3 – 4 months) for what I thought was needing new brakes. Guy explained to me both times what was causing the noise. Didn’t do unnecessary work such as tire rotations or new brakes, but did make an excellent recommendation for alignment. I’ll continue to go here, for sure.

So I needed brakes. Why else go to a brakes place, right? We went in and were immediately greeted. They were really friendly and got my car in immediately, even though it was late saturday afternoon. It turned out that my brakes were so bad I shouldn’t even drive home. I was only planning on getting an estimate because my mom was paying for it so I had no money. The service rep heard us talking about it and manuevered the charges so that we could afford to pay for the job today and not drive home in a deathtrap. I was so thankful I literally started crying. I definately recommend this Brakes Plus (it’s the one on Abbott off 8th St) as they truly go above and beyond to help their customers. They gained a lifetime customer with me. Thanks so much!
