C J Kard

Everyone compliments the cards I buy and send from C J Kard. Anyone can go to the grocery store and get a Hallmark; if you’re going to go through the trouble to mail a card in this day and age, why not make it unique? I’m thrilled they’ve made a go of it for so many years. I started going there in 1993 with my Mom!

I got my wedding invitations here. The my have a huge selection and the staff is so helpful in determining your style that you want for the price you can afford. I ended up finding the perfect invites and rsvp’s that matched my wedding style perfectly. The invites came in very quickly and everything was printed for us. Amazing customer service when we were in a time crunch. Great job!

We were fortunate to have designed and ordered some Save The Date cards and Wedding Invitations through them. We had told them that we wanted to help local businesses and use recycled papers or at least be as ‘green’ as possible, and they mentioned they had recently started working with the stationer/​printer Lucky Onion (based in Broomfield). They showed us their huge catalog, and we were thrilled that CJ Kard was carrying them.
Because we couldn’t work with L.O. directly, CJ Kard’s Lauren and Liz were super patient as they listened to our endless desires, communicated through several e-​mails and phone calls, and made mock-​ups and suggestions before finally sending in a draft to L.O. These two ladies were knowledgeable about design and wording, so they helped us with our non-​traditional invitations.
All of our products turned out better than I expected — they even look better than the proofs! The colors were wonderful, the designs are crisp, and I love the feel of the paper. We received many compliments from our guests and appreciation that we used 100% recycled paper.

Quaint little card place in downtown springs. Like the fact that they have handmade cards and local gifts. Some interesting, unique stuff there. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Lots better than a generic hallmark store…

I went in here on my exploration of the shops on Tejon, and the staff were the friendliest people I have met thus far in Colorado Springs. Also, it’s the classiest place I have found here.
While I was looking at all of their stuff, I decided to look at custom stationary. They have a really great selection, including Crane & Co. As I sat down to look at the books, a friendly lady tried to direct me to things I might like. She also gave me a warning to not let my parking meter expired, because the police are strict about it. It was cute.
If this shop was in Minneapolis, it wouldn’t be my favorite because the selection is big, but not extensive. But I think it’s the best you guys have in Colorado Springs, and it’s very good.
