Yes and yes! They have a great mix of local treats(like whiskeys and vodka) and wines from around the world. Fantastic gift sets and as always, to-die-for prices.

Not a lot to say about a liquor store but I give this one five stars because they have best prices in town. The regular items we get are 2 – 3 bucks cheaper here and that adds up. Not the biggest selection so if you’re looking for uncommon wines this may not be your stop but anything else come here first.

First things first: Even though this is attached to Costco, it is not Costco. So you DONOT need a Costco card to shop here! If you want low prices(who doesn’t) this is your place. It’s not my favorite place in my neighborhood because I really value that«community» feel where the people at the register remember you. But the prices here just cannot be beat. Selection: Isn’t the best, but they have high quantity at low prices. So, if you’re having a party and just need a ton of something that isn’t specialty, you’ll be fine. Prices: Like I said: They can’t be beat. If we have a tight budget, I can get a large bottle of something that won’t make me gag for $ 10-$ 15. Customer service: It’s fine. No one has ever been rude(like some places — Springs Liquor Outlet). But they don’t really make an effort to be friendly or remember you(like the Liquor Depot). And sometimes they really take their time at the check out when I’m standing there with my arms full, the line is 5 people deep and there are other employees just walking around. Overall, nothing egregious. You get Costco prices without a Costco card(which we have anyways). But like I said — it’s more important to me to support the local shop that focuses on customer service and really puts effort into their shop and taking care of their customers. But if your priority is your bottom line, then this could be your place.

I know this place has a real name, but I’ll go with Costco Liquor for now… good prices on a decent selection of decent wines, beers and that stuff I have to add coke to. Nice cabinet of high end scotch, tequila and whiskey I’d never be able to afford. Actually the best prices I’ve ever seen on certain wines I only buy as gifts too. It’s a warehouse, so nothing is pretty, but all the employees are helpful and they do sample stuff most every Friday afternoon. And i don’t feel like a criminal like the one store just south by Target. Stop in say hello, and enjoy a nice bottle of Punto Final, you won’t be disappointed.

So, everyone has their vices and mine is wine and this is my kind of place. I have access to Peterson’s Class Six(the al-kee-hol shop on a military base), and have check out prices at a couple of other local places, but I always return to Costco Liquors. Admittedly, variety is not their strong suit, so if you are looking for that Bin 28 Kalimna, you are probably not going to get it here, but if you want to pick up a bottle of standard Veuve or get a great bottle for 15 $, then Costco’s ur huckleberry. I haven’t really priced their hard liquors, but I’d guess they are also a proportionally great deal. Best of all, you don’t need to be a costco member to shop here. Better yet, become a costco member and pick up a great wine to pair with the buck-fifty dog!
