I am a regular patron here hence the 2 stars. Ice cream is good the burgers are decent however I had THEWORST fish sandwich I have ever had in my life there the tarter sauce had no mayo in and it tasted like mustard and pickles mixed together. The service there is normally okay however they had a vapid new girl there who stared blankly into space when I explained how awful it was. Dryer lint has better customer service skills than this person good luck on that new hire. This is a neighborhood business I enjoy supporting but I don’t enjoy paying too much for inedible food. I don’t like or eat at McDonald’s but they even have a much better fish sandwich.

Their buffalo fries are probably the best item of food on the menu. Their shakes are good too, but I read reviews and was convinced that the burger would be good. Well I was way off. The quality of meat has to be lower than even McDonald’s. I don’t even understand how people can say the burgers are good. I’m not sure what they are comparing them to, but may God have mercy on their souls(and stomachs) The burgers are thicker than most fast food places, but frozen for weeks, over-cooked, rubbery, grey meat can’t be considered«real beef». I wouldn’t stop in for a burger ever again, but the buffalo fries and shakes are the only things worth getting in my opinion. Cool ice cream shops for kid, but please spare them and do not eat the meat here

I’m a simple man with simple needs — I loved this place in high school and it hasn’t changed; just a damn friendly place with great service, and a good burger when I need a damn good burger.

Used to carry Ranch Foods meat and be affordable for a family of 4. Not anymore. Raised prices and carrying mystery meat. Used to be one of our favorite burger spots. Bummer!

Cy’s is the kind of place I keep trying to love, but can’t. Out of the five times I have been there, four times had wait times of 20+ minutes. The burgers are fine, but not worth the steep price. I normally am crazy for battered mushrooms, theirs are mushy on the inside.

I expected a little more burger at this cool little drive in. I’ve been to places like this before and usually end up with an ooey gooey– old school– greasy– fresh off the grill– burger. I will say they dressed it well. The bun was soft, the lettuce and tomato was fresh, and the mayo had that good heavy restaurant quality, but the burger itself came up short and disappointed me. It seemed like one of those pre-pattied and probably frozen types. Totally dry and bland. I wondered if it had even touched a grill. Remember those burgers they served in high school? It just wasn’t what I expected from drive-in burger place and definitely not worth the more than $ 5 I paid for it. For that much, it better be fresh. My taste buds would have been happier with a fast food burger. 2 stars for the sandwich. The 3rd star is because their shakes looked delicious, the mayo was good, and I have a heart for the little places.

Love this little hole in the wall!!! My husband and I went one day just to check it out(a coworker actually recommended it) and it was amazing! My husband got the Philly cheese steak and he said it was delicious(too bad I didn’t ask for a bite of it!) I got one of the burgers and oh my jawwww! It was amazing!!! They actually use real meat, none of those McDonalds type crap. It was simple yet so good! We spent about $ 12 for both of our sandwich and a drink so it wasn’t at all bad. I’ve yet to go back because I’m waiting for my husband to come back so we can go together again! I would definitely recommend this to anyone! You never really hear about it until someone recommends it, like what happened to me. Despite the fact that it was kinda on the greasy side, I had to embrace the grease! lol

Wow, after all the supposed 4 – 5 star reviews my husband and I had to try this. But what a disappointment :-(these are frozen burgers, Burger King style onion rings, fry’s that taste like fish(change your oil please). Not worth the price at all. Such a disappointment.

This place needs an overhaul. Over abundance of flies landing on you detracts. I opted for the pork tenderloin and mushrooms. It’s sad. A frozen puck drenched in vegetable oil and scalding hot battered mushrooms are not good quality. There are 4 booths, 4 tables and 2 stools for seating. The tables are not wiped down and you slide into leftover crumbs and oil. The overall appearance is a disaster from peeling up floor to damaged counters. License plates, Elvis pics and Marlin Brando posters just don’t do anything. The parking lot is a wreck. Potholes, dirt and gravel abound. Also for a place that says car hop service in big giant letters, they don’t have it. Bottom line, go elsewhere.

Horrible service. Went there for dinner tonight around 5pm. The 2 girls working thought their private conversation was more important than serving customers. The order of 2 hamburger meals took half an hour. When it was done, the bag was tossed onto the table. The hamburgers were so over cooked that they were hard to eat. The toppings were soggy and gross. Sadly we will never return.

Good milk shakes and root beer floats, but I’ve had far better hamburgers, chili dogs and chili cheese fries. If you’re desperate for deep fried goodness, then sure, try Cy’s. I probably will not be going back.

Great shakes, fries and tots! The burgers were marginal and little disappointing. My wife loved the burgers however. I really liked the car side service, however, be warned that on a sunny day, the tar odor from the blacktop parking lot can get a bit overwhelming so it can put the kabash on chillin’ with your sweetie with the windows down and the breeze blowing. overall, a solid burger joint.

I just left here scratching my head at how this place has such high reviews, yet the food I just ate was so mediocre. Scratch that, it was awful! I can’t give more than one star for a place that not only had us waiting over 40 minutes for our burgers, but served us cold fries! I seriously wish I was exaggerating but I’m not. Had it been a normal restaurant where you order first than pay I’m sure they would lose a lot of customers in their slow service alone. But since we had already paid we had no choice but to sit there with rumbling tummies thinking we had just found a fast food restaurant given the name and the fact that they serve burgers. I ordered their blue cheese burger and for the price of the burger I thought it would at least have blue cheese crumbles but instead it was a blue cheese dressing. Uh okay? All in all it was not worth it. Maybe it was an off day for the cook? Doubtful, but I’m not willing to feel ripped off again to see.

I never review, but Cy’s deserves it. Dinner for two for $ 14 — two jr. bacon cheeseburgers, split an order of buffalo fries, two small milkshakes, and a root beer. The burgers are top-notch quality organic Callicrate beef, and even with splitting the fries we were full to bursting. The bacon is perfectly crispy, the cheese melty, the lettuce and tomato let me justify this as a meal including vegetables, and they put mayo on the burgers(heck yeah). For me, a jr. burger plus fries and a shake is the perfect amount of food, but I think they go up to a ½ lb.

My husband and I disagree on the star level. But I really enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger, buffalo fries and root beer. My husband found this burger average, fries and bacon not crispy enough. Considering this is not a chain, I like what they’re putting out. It’s fresh, delicious and priced well.

You want a greasy spoon hole in the wall with some old school drive-in charm? Then try this place and it will help you with that fix. Is it great? No but it is really good and hits the spot when you haven’t eaten all day and just want to stuff your face. Stop on by Cy’s to fill the urge.

I’m leaving my review at the same rating because I still love this place. However… they need to make some serious changes. I waited 43 mins total on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered two burgers and two sides. There were 2 people working total. I left a $ 5 tip cause I felt bad for the employees. I also think I was overcharged for my food. I didn’t even question it cause of the time if would’ve taken to correct. Service was as good as expected, food was good, just very disappointed in the ‘fast food’ that took more time than a restaurant.

Happy National Cheeseburger Day Cy’s. This is a tiny place for the kind of business it gets and the parking lot sure isn’t big enough to hold all it’s loyal customers. I love the burgers, the fries and the shakes but most of all, I love the deep fried mushrooms. Deep fried mushrooms and other goodies like pizza puffs reminds me of home so I have a special place in my heart for local dives like Cy’s. The décor feels like garage sale/50’s diner chic and it gives you plenty to look at while you try to figure out how to take down all the food that’s in front of you. But mmm mmmm is all that food so darn tasty. I had a small cheeseburger with sharp cheddar and jalapenos with a side of french fries and mushrooms ’cause I couldn’t decide. I believe in having choices and a part of me wishes they’d combine half portions of their sides so people wouldn’t have to choose between one of the other. If you have space left in your stomach after all that awesome goodness, they also sell soft serve ice cream cones that are impressive and worthy of being posted on Facebook as «food porn.» It’s good to have a small local place like this so we don’t have to succumb to the McDonald’s and Carl’s Jr.‘s of the world.
