They showed up 35 minutes late, the loading took a while, they would stop and talk(padding their time), when it came time to head over to the second location, they informed my wife that they needed a ride to the gas station because they ran out of gas. Took another 30 – 40 minute to take care of their personal business and grab lunch during our move, when they got to the second location to unload, in their hast to unload they damaged a door frame and our bed. They then tried to charge my wife an extra 90 minutes of time, wife reminded them that they were 35 min. late and that they took over 30 – 40 min taking care of personal business and lunch, so they settled on 30 minutes extra time my wife was unaware of the damage to the bed or the dumping they were planning to do at our old complex, and they said they would be back to repair door frame. None of those issues have been resolved. Also on a return trip to my old apartment I watched them dump a truck load of garbage in my old complexes dumpster including a large screen TV, a full sized toilet and other stuff(I could have been fined for their actions). When talking on the phone to try to resolve these matters the owner became hostile, rude and the language became abusive loaded with profanity and threats. We are still try to get things taken care, of so far no luck. Update as of 2÷28÷2014 our move was on 2÷17÷2014, still no resolution. We gave them the chance to come back over to look at the damages on the next day after the move I told Jake C. I would be home after 4PM he said he would be there no later then 5:30PM at 6:35PM he text me saying something had come up he was not coming by. We instead sent him pictures and what it would cost to make the repair we have spent roughly two weeks going back and forth via text trying to see eye to eye on how the damages would be paid for. Finally after all this I found out he lied about the coarse of events both too the company we found him through and lied in a response to a negative review my wife left on the same site(we did not tip them it was extra money to get them to finish the move and we were not happy with their work and I covered the dresser with blankets not them). I informed the company of this, and I am in the process of letting the BBB know of this matter and also my CC company to have the charges reversed. I text Jack C. the owner to let him know that I was taking these steps do to his dishonesty and stringing us along on the damages. He then sent text both to me and my wife the content of which and base on earlier language and behavior lead me to having to call the Police on him. As of right now the Police officer told Jack C. not to contact us further and if he did to call them back to report it and to simply dispute the cost of the move with the CC company. This is by far the worst company I have ever done business with, they took advantage of my wife’s kindness, never again, nor will I ever use the site I found them through.
