I had a motor built here in 1985. a balanced and blue printed 327 for my chevelle. it had maybe 900 miles on it before it went into deep storage while I entered the military and eventually home to college, a wife ad a career. at that time I put the chevelle in deep storage for 25 years. I woke the car up in 2011 and began a restoration. 26 years later, the motor doesn’t smoke at all. in perfect condition. I hired a rod company that also specializes in racing and they dialed the motor in with proper ignition and a carb that none of us had any idea would actually run on the motor. the motor is a beast! and for the first time in my life, it runs like mike meant it to. a true time machine and a tire melting blast! thanks mike G! we put it in deep storage with marine stabilizer through the carb, then she sat for all those years. mike set up a great running combination in the motor build and I couldn’t be more happy. my class mate Brad Helton built the heads. just thought I’d share. :) thanks Mike G!
