Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs

I am a firm believer in recycling clothes, as my children grow faster than I can keep up.
I had several bad experiences in the last few months at this store, with today’s experience being no better.
The lines were long, not unusual. The customer two ahead of me was complaining about lack of prices on objects, which were clearly there. She asked for a discount, after she told the service person there were only 99 pieces in the 100 piece puzzle that she wanted. The price was dropped from $ 1.59-$.99.
She asked for another discount on an iron that she was not sure worked. The price was dropped from $ 5.99-$ 3.99. She continued to quibble until she got eight items for less than $ 15.
The lady ahead of me then showed the lady a pair of jeans with a tear in them and asked for a price discount, the customer service person, the same one that had just priced dropped on several items, said «I’m sorry, I’m not allowed to adjust the price and they take that into consideration when they put the price on.»
Wow. Do they give friends a discount, or just look and decide if they can give you a discount or not???
This is not what we should be witness to, in a store that supports everyone in our community.
I will be giving my donations and buying elsewhere.

A nice, well organized second hand store with a decent selection of books, clothes and home items. Pricing seems on par with the other Goodwill locations in the Springs while the brands and selection seem a bit better. Friendly staff and plenty of choices make it easy to lose track of time here.

This is ONE of three Goodwill’s we go to and this one is actually our FAVORITE!!! I have found soooooooo many good conditioned nice things at this good will. I usually always leave buying something from this one lol. Yes, I would definitely recommend this Goodwill to anyone and everyone!!! =)

I completely agree with Nicole! The folks running the store and the drop-​off drive-​thru are consistently helpful, pleasant and very hardworking. The drive-​thru operates like a well-​oiled machine! Very efficient.

The people working there are so very kind and helpful. The store is always neat and clean. The clothing is very organized. My favorite Goodwill, by far!
