This is my favorite sushi restaurant. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. I can’t wait to come again to have yummy sushi.

I picked this place for one reason– it was a Sunday and they are open on Sundays. I also noticed that it has a 3.7 star rating on Google, which doesn’t quite add up to the rating on Unilocal. There isn’t anything fancy about the restaurant. The décor leaves a lot to be desired and the seating at the sushi bar was uncomfortable. Speaking of the bar, it is very small with very little to see. I ordered the crunch shrimp roll, caterpillar roll & a Sapporo which were enjoyable. Each roll had 10 pieces so there was definitely plenty left to take home. Overall, this isn’t my favorite sushi restaurant experience, but is far from the worst.

I’m going to agree with the 2.5 star average rating for Mobo. I’ll give them an extra half star for good service, but the fish was nowhere near fresh and the rice was flavorless and mushy. We were there for lunch. Maybe dinner is better.

Great all-you-can-eat deal, and their take out is fast. I saw no issue in the amount of rice like some of these people are saying. I originally moved out here from California, and I will probably make this my go to sushi place. They have a wide variety of different rolls, and I enjoy the creativity in all the variety. Great place for sushi.

Last Saturday was the last time I will be going to Mobo. I’ve eaten there for almost 6 years and the last couple of years it seems the place has gone down hill. The all you can eat servings are tiny and look like they were rushed when prepared. Everything is pretty much rice rice rice with a peppering of ingredients. If you want to overpay for getting a belly full of rice then this is the place. Very sad considering this place used to be one of my favorites back in the day.

I’ve always been leery of «all you can eat» sushi places, as that is typically synonymous with«We don’t give a shit once we get your 21 bucks.» 1) The soup. You can typically judge a Japanese establishment by the quality of their miso soup. I’ve literally had better from some Annie Chung’s freeze-dried soup packets. No kelp, no scallions, just soup and tiny bits of tofu. 2) The sushi. This was half a step above what I consider«Supermarket sushi.» That is to say, I could have spent the same amount of money at King Soopers and had a roughly equivalent experience where I could have feasted upon my spoils in my underwear(in true american fashion!) Granted, I would have missed out on the soup, although I wouldn’t have been missing much there. 2 out of 10. Will not be visiting this establishment again.

It wasn’t bad for all you can eat. There was a lot of rice and lacked flavor. But other than that it wasn’t awful. There wasn’t anyone there eating when we first walked in which made me a little worried. Not my first choice in sushi places. Sushi rakyyo is way better for all you can eat.

All you can eat sushi at its finest! We had about 9 rolls between 4 adults and everything was amazing. I had a house salad and the dressing was delicious. Among the rolls I had a spicy fried California, a las Vegas, spicy salmon, spicy eel and the rest escapes me but I can assure you no matter what you get here, you can’t go wrong. I have done nothing but think about going back since I left last night.

Great food, great prices and great service. Here from California and can definitely compare the quality of this sushi to that in California. You have to try the Vegas roll.

Mobo is grosso. Sorry for the bad joke, but it really is. We started with miso soup which was basically warm water with a few chunks of tofu. Moving, on, the California Roll had absolutely zero avocado in it and consisted mainly of rice stuffed inside more rice. This was unfortunately a consistent pattern throughout the meal as it was mainly ¾ rice and ¼ fish. The salmon was good, but all the tuna smelled a bit off. Today’s lunch(not my idead!) marks the third and last time I will visit Mobo Sushi. The last time both my companion and I got sick afterwards. Ai Sushi by the IMAX Theater off Powers is much, MUCH better.

Worst sushi, no fish, all rice. Confronted the waitress and she said its all you can eat and some people order 8 rolls. Meaning it’s okay that we barely put in any fish. Steer clear, total waste of $$.

My husband and I love sushi and have tried almost every place in the area. We decided to try this place to see if it was any good since they have all you can eat sushi for less than 25 bucks. Well that should have told us all we needed to know. The sushi pieces were tiny and the balls of rice were huge. The rolls were bland and boring and they were not packed right so they fall apart the moment they touch soy sauce. One of the tiny pieces I ordered was all dried up and hard like a tendon. So basically you’re paying a lot of money to eat rice. We won’t be going back.

The waitress that we had was really nice from the moment we walked in to the minute we walked out. She even told us how to get what we wanted for a little cheaper by having my daughter get the all you can eat at half price. The sushi was good sushi. Although some had more rice than anything else. Still good. We also ordered a miso soup and long noodles, not good. The long noodles were like Ramen from the store that you boil then put the flavoring. And the miso soup was the same. And not much flavor. We got some honey chicken for my daughter, and it was really really good. I’d go back for just that sometime. There’s a good variety in the all you can eat, it’s not just sushi. Overall a good price for what you get. And the staff is very friendly.

All you can eat sushi is really an impressive concept. There is more than just sushi on this menu. Pretty deal but beware order a little at a time. Or start off in bulk and slow down from there. They charge what is not eaten. But the sushi is good the atmosphere is comfortable. The wait staff is friendly, english is not their first language but patience is key, they are really accomodating. I will definitely go back.

Awful service, watched her warm the Miso soup in the microwave. Rolls were never what they were supposed to be. Only partial order came out. Then when we complained the waitress told us we were wrong. Will never be back!

I’ve been here twice. The first time was ok for the price. The second time they served my Nigiri sushi and California roll on hot rice. The place looks and feels dirty to begin with but while I was trying my best to eat my hot raw sushi I watched a cockroach crawl across the sushi bar. I don’t normally give out 1 star reviews but ethically I have to say something about this because they are serving RAWFISH. If they don’t care about what you can see then imagine what you can’t see looks like. I would’ve told the owners if it wouldn’t have fallen on deaf ears. Avoid this one if you can but if you decide to go be careful.

I’m usually all for these little out of the way establishments. But last night turned out to be a disappointment. This place is just way too unorganized. The price could be right for an all-you-can-eat if the chefs get their act together. If it weren’t for the great company we were in, the night would have been a total disaster. The service was way too slow, we didn’t get what we ordered, they brought the same rolls out over and and over again!!! I mean at least make that roll superb or something, but no. It wasn’t even mediocre to say the least. STAYAWAY!

Short Version: Overpriced, Mediocre sushi and slow service. This place doesn’t have much business serving sushi until they do a major overhaul. Do not go here. The details: We went there because Sushi Ring was closed, was told it was pretty good. Apparently it had changed owners. First, it took an inordinately long time to start receiving our first orders from the all-you-can-eat. I had ordered 5 different rolls and received mine but none of the other 5 people at my table got anything. So, I shared my rolls with everyone else while they waited. …an HOUR later and people still had not received what they ordered at my table. Not only that, but we realized that the rolls we were receiving, despite having different names… were the SAMEROLL. It’s the same roll! All of them! We all found this rather amusing, but that same roll wasn’t so great. The rice was too dry and rolled too loose so all our rolls fell apart when we tried to pick them up to eat. What a mess. Additionally, the actual fish on top of the rolls were sliced really thin and generally was flavorless. One of the server women was trying pretty hard but I could tell she was already fed up, and said she was a new worker. That’s understandable, but she had no idea what rolls she was serving, let alone who they were supposed to go to. There’s something to be said for training your staff. Most of the two and a half hours we spent here was us laughing at how bad the sushi and service was… but mostly we believe the issues were from the kitchen and their overall lack of caring how they present their food, how it tastes, and how it’s served. The staff caught on because we were pretty disgruntled. This meal WASNOT cheap, but the food and service was. They gave us our(two) beers we ordered free but that’s a drop in the bucket to how much we spent. Again, don’t go here until they make some MAJOR changes. I’ve had better sushi from supermarket sushi bars.

My brother wanted to get sushi and I remember seeing that they have an all you can eat option, which is awesome since my brother is a little piggy. The atmosphere was like any strap mall sushi place. Light Japanese decorations and a few televisions around. It was a little dingy, which was expected. We look at the all you can eat menu with is $ 22 per person(half off for people under eight). Didn’t seem bad especially since I have spent $ 80 bucks on two people recently. Their menu included appetizers, side dishes, and soups /salads along with all the sushi. When comparing the normal list with the all you can eat list there was about 60% of the sushi rolls offered. We order six different ones. Went on a Monday night, so our food came out fairly quickly. The quality of the rolls were good. Nothing too amazing but still alright. I do not expect much being in Colorado when it comes to fresh sea food, so that is what also made it just good. All in all it was average. The customer service is what I enjoyed the most. The lady that helped us told my brother to say he was seven(he is actually eight) in order to get the half off. Even though the place was empty they still left us alone and let us eat and hang out in privacy. My only complaint is that they had top 40 music playing which was a bit annoying, but it wasn’t that loud.

Not great sushi. The fish didn’t smell fresh and it’s sliced super thin. The prices are way too high. Not impressed. I wouldn’t go back. Ai is less expensive and way better quality.
