Delicious brunch and decent service in this downtown location. Expect the wait to be less than the other location on Nevada but the experience to be a bit more inconsistent. I’ve been to the Nevada location a number of times but this was my first time downtown. The wait is always worth it as I’ve always licked my plate clean as the dishes have always been cooked to perfection. This location, at least on this experience, was a little lower on the quality scale than what I had grown accustomed to, but the flavors were still there. Let me explain. I’m a sucker for their benedicts and biscuits & gravy. I go out of my way to come to this place even if I have a minor craving for either. And usually they blow my socks off. This time around, all of the eggs were well over-poached and I’m not sure if they were rationing hollandaise, but it sure seemed like it. To add to that, the biscuits and gravy came out first(yay!) but both biscuits and gravy were cold(boo!). On top of it our waitress was friendly enough but we had empty cups of water for more than half the meal and when she did stop by the one time to drop off our check 5 minutes after ordering, she didn’t bother to top off the waters or coffee and left before we could even ask. Do these complaints sound petty? Maybe. But they’ve set their own bar high and didn’t come anywhere near on this visit. I’ll chalk this one up as an anomaly and definitely continue to come as it’s the best brunch in town. I might just stick to the Nevada location.

My only complaint is that we don’t have one in Texas! Their menu is inventive without being obnoxious, and there are so many options to choose from for a healthy breakfast! Their pancake flight was incredibly fluffy and flavorful, and their avocado toast and salad were divine. This will definitely be our go-to breakfast place each time we’re in town!

Great service, good food, nice atmosphere! Definitely a go to for breakfast and brunch lovers. Missed the five star mark, 3 people at our table wanted ketchup and they brought a small(2 tablespoon) dish of ketchup, when individual ketchup would have been a better option. Not a deal breaker. Great staff!!!

The wait is long, but it’s well worth it! My husband and I love this place, and friends we’ve taken here love it as well. The biscuits and gravy is my favorite dish, and one they’re well known for. The staff are always very friendly, and every dish I’ve tried has been amazing.

This place is definitely worth the visit, the food and drinks are outstanding. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with the colorado honey lemonade along with the cure and the south west Benedict. I cannot fault the food or presentation it was exactly what I expected being a foodie and I didn’t leave disappointed. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was because it took about 20 to 25 min for our food to come out and I found an unexpected«treasure» in my food, the staff was amazing at getting me taken care of and the situation handled. I will come back and I will continue to rave about this place.

Great place and good atmosphere. Had the breakfast tacos. They were very flavorful. Also, had the Tropical Paradise mimosa which was so good wanted to order another one but $ 6 seems like a little much for a little glass. But all in all the wait staff was wonderful. Would definitely come here again.

I ordered tacos and they were pretty abysmal. Very bland taste. Service is OK but the food is not great. Don’t waste your time.

Im giving this place 5 stars for the taste! I normally dont give anyone 5 stars but this place deserves it. They cooked us great food and there was a slight problem with one of the meals but they instantly fixed the problem right away. I would recommend this place to any friend for a great breakfast location.

My mom and I came here our first morning in Colorado Springs, and we really enjoyed it! Great atmosphere. I got the pancake flight, and while they weren’t the best pancakes I’ve ever had, they were very tasty. I had chocolate chip, cinnamon swirl and blueberry streusel. The chocolate chip was my favorite. The other 2 were a little too rich for me. My mom had the huevos rancheros, and it was excellent! Would definitely recommend it.

We came for the eggs Benedict and were not disappointed. My boyfriend got the Tuscan and I had the one that was served on a tamale with green chile and pork. Both were delicious and paired perfectly with the honey lemonade and the juice with coconut water. Great location in the heart of downtown, but be prepared to wait for a while!

Great service and delicious breakfast. I had the 3 eggs breakfast and traded out my toast for a delicious Hawaiian pancake! Our waitress and the server were really friendly. We got a lot of food for the prices and the reataurant was very clean. The only think I didn’t like was the carrot ginger drink. I was expecting a juice but it seems like they took lemonade and poured a touch of carrot juice in it– too sweet for my liking.

The owners and employees think more highly of this place than is warranted. They really treat you like you are a low class bother and not worthy of their greasy breakfast food… Waffle House beats this place at half the price.

I was in town for a wedding and am always in search of a great brunch and a friend of mine suggested we head over to over easy. By the time we got there around 9 am the line was already out the door, which to me is usually a good sign. Although we had to wait a good 25 minutes, they provided coffee which was quite the welcomed perk especially since it was snowing outside. Once we were seated, our waitress was incredibly personable and was willing to joke with us. My husband ordered the ginger splash and was kind enough to let me have a taste. Although, I didn’t think it would be up my alley, it was incredibly delicious! I kept seeing pancakes being delivered to other tables and they looked divine, even though I didn’t end up ordering them. I went with the huevos rancheros with eggs over easy and green chile. It may have been heavier than I was expecting, but no complaints here. The green chile was flavorful with a kick of heat and the beans were delicious, all combined with runny eggs. A match made in heaven. It may be a slightly small detail, but I was so happy when my hashbrowns came out crispy without me having to ask, completely made my morning. All in all, this was a great place to enjoy brunch, just make sure you are willing to wait.

Stopped in for brunch yesterday; overall a great place for brunch with friends with plenty of choices, but not the best food or experience we’ve ever had. First, our estimated wait time was 40 minutes, despite numerous empty seats throughout the restaurant. It was truly mind-boggling to all of us waiting. In particular, they stated they were seating the bar, but there were at times 5 or 6 seats available at the bar. There were also tons of tables left un-bussed. They seemed either really inefficient, or understaffed, or both. For this reason, I would not recommend for large groups. While waiting, we were able to get a seat at the neighboring bar(it wasn’t clear if it was part of Over Easy, or a space they leased out, or what). We did have some excellent cocktails. Although, their cocktail list seemed confusing, with different drinks advertised in different places, and a happy hour($ 3 margaritas!) that we only knew about because the bartender mentioned it. I really enjoyed my German hot chocolate and would recommend! Once seated, we ordered quickly because we weren’t sure how long the wait would be given how slow everything seemed up to that point. I ordered the«Award Winning» Biscuits and Gravy, and I’m sad to report it was so bland. We had to add salt and a lot of pepper to make it better. I couldn’t taste the sage at all. It sounded so good, but I was left disappointed. If you’re dying to try it, get the one biscuit & gravy on the side. My husband had the flight of pancakes, in order, our preference were: strawberry cheesecake, blueberry struessel, and cinnamon swirl. They were all OK, but a little too sweet for me to have eaten the entire thing. Might be the type of thing you could order for the table to share if everyone just wants a bite. The pancakes were humongous — the size of my hand — so the price definitely makes sense. I would probably find my way back here if I lived in Colorado Springs, and might have a better experience on another day. We just weren’t thrilled with our experience this time.

This was such a delicious breakfast spot. The portions were plenty, the atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, the restaurant seemed clean, and the food was really really good. Definitely family friendly or also for business meetings. We enjoyed how laid back this place was. It also looked like they had 3 sections to hold breakfast meetings for business as well. The price is on par for the amount of food you get. We got the breakfast burrito, cinnamon pancake and the stuffed French toast with a juice called«the cure» to share. The menu has great options for any breakfast eater. From sweet carb loading to simple eggs and bacon. Everything we tasted was great. We’d definitely come back in a heart beat if we were from the area. Parking is metered street parking so be prepared for that. They accept visa or MasterCard or dime and quarters for the meter. We were very pleased and give this place five stars for sure.

My husband and I went here for the first time. The service was exceptional. Josh was one of the best servers ever. He was attentive without being annoying. He made great suggestions and was funny. The food was between good and great. I enjoyed my flight of pancakes — strawberry cheesecake, Blueberry streusel and cinnamon with a side of bacon. My husband got the breakfast burrito and a side of biscuits and gravy. He said burrito was decent but not great. We both tried the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were crispy which I liked, the gravy didn’t have a ton of flavor. Newborns: Not super great for newborns. They have the ‘sling’ to put the car seat in but there is very little space between tables so its very tight. Even carrying in the car seat you felt like you were going to bop all the other customers on the head. Newbies: I felt comfortable here and received excellent customer service. I almost went with 5 just because of the customer service but between the space and the food it deserves a solid 4 stars. Parking was decent, we just had a snow storm so it was very slushy. You have to pay for parking anytime before 6pm and days that are not Sunday! We will definitely be back.
