I’ve been going here for years and never had a problem with the results. Peak View Cleaners is tiny and definitely not fancy, but it is family-owned and friendly. I’m not sure they even have a computer system in place. My garments are always done when they say they’re done, and they are returned nicely hung on hangers without the aid of huge safety pins(which another cleaner had left major holes in my nice dress before they went out of business). You pay AFTER you pick up your clothes, and they do take credit cards. They’re located in the strip mall next to Borriello Bros Pizza with a paved lot along Barnes. My two gripes: 1) About 80% of the time when I try to spell my name for the owner, she thinks I’m saying some other letters and I have to correct her for nearly each one. She’s recognized me all these years, so as one of the regulars, she should know some vestige of my name. It can be painstaking that at times I wish she’d just hand over that slip of paper so I can write my name for her; 2) This place is more expensive by like $ 0.50 to $ 1 per item than other dry cleaners I’ve had. But it’s not that far from my house and the convenience often makes up for the expense. I also do wish that they employed a GreenEarth cleaning process like Summit Cleaners; but as this place ain’t no chain, I don’t expect it to have the resources to completely overhaul their methods. Overall, a solid choice for the neighborhood dry-cleaning, but I wouldn’t suggest you go out of your way if you already have a favorite or more convenient cleaner.
