Okay, I’m going to start by saying that the place is in the process of being remolded and I think it has some potential. I think it was once two separate hotels that were formed into one? I’m not sure about that but it seems like it. Our room was on what we deemed the «nice» side and was comfortable and pretty nice though a bit outdated it looked as if the bathrooms had been updated but the carpet and what not. I didn’t think it was bad. The breakfast was nice but we had to walk like a mile to get there. Could be nice once it’s done. Great for the price

This place is distrusting. Broken tiles in bathroom, broken toilet seat. 1970 wall paper falling off the walls. Stained carpet everywhere. Get your act together clarion and kick this place out of the franchise. It’s a 1 ½ review and I rounded it up because the girl at the front is nice. And the beds suck too. I’m never coming back.

Decent hotel for the price and in a very easy to get to location. The property shows its age, but is being renovated. Breakfast and wifi are included, which adds to the value.

Front desk service is good. Walls are thin and very noisy. Hard to sleep. Pillows and bed not comfortable to me. Big rooms. Not new but decent. Cleaning is ok. Maintenace is nice but slow to respond. Think they wear too many hats. With one exception, no way in without stairs. Door without steps is small and far from elevator. Actually have handicapped walk-​in showers. Nice center courtyard accessible from my patio but stinks of smoke too often to be able to use. ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ on pros and cons. Breakfast is too far from room due to layout and my disability. No idea if good or bad. Showtime. No hbo or fx or syfy. TV did not work first night. Guess it was due to storm. Close to Pukes Peak. Would probably try a different hotel on a return visit.

This hotel is run down and dirty. Perhaps would have been bearable if we were paying $ 40 a night but rooms here are $ 80 – 120. Walking in, we noticed the carpets, walls, doors and fixtures are scuffed, smudged, dinged, scraped… Our door had a large boot print right in the center (has this been kicked in before?). When we walked into the room we were greeted by the distinct smell of dirty diapers, accompanied by an un-​identifiable brown stain on the bed coverings. The other bed was free of stains but did have a few strands of hair in the sheets.
We asked to switch rooms and the kid at the desk apologized profusely and gave us keys to room 173. As we slid in the key, we noticed there was a do not disturb sign and heard loud conversation by the room’s current inhabitants. Oops! Room’s already occupied. So we went back to the desk and explained. The kid rolled his eyes (not in a rude way but like he was frustrated for us) apologized again and then gave us keys for 162. That door just didn’t open. Rather than adding to the boot marked door décor we just surrendered. By this time it was late and my boyfriend had to get up early for a race (which also meant all other hotels in the area were booked).
We tried to cancel our reservation for tomorrow night but the person at the desk said they were unable to do it without a manager. She’ll have a lot to hear about tomorrow morning.

This hotel was clearly in need of major renovation. Hallways, doors, and light fixtures were all scuffed and dinged. Ice machine didn’t work. Pool was filthy –we couldn’t see the bottom! The ceilings in the pool area were falling down and half way through some slap dash plasterwork. Baseboards and light fixtures missing. Exhaust fans absent in bathrooms. Linens stained. At the breakfast bar, we discovered pieces of plastic stuck to our pancakes. They ran out of syrup! OJ was «broken». And to beat all, there was TIP jar for the staff working the breakfast bar! Talk about tacky. The hotel is in a more run down part of the city. A park with numerous homeless people sleeping on the ground directly beside. Liquor stores nearby.

Internet was unreliable.
Quiet, clean. Fair price.
Free breakfast with service, but I didn’t use it.
