Rachel was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Not only is she amazingly talented, but she is also a pleasure to interact with. My husband and I hired her to shoot our engagement photos and wedding photos which both turned out great and exceeded our expectations. She is very personable and took a genuine interest in getting to know us so that we could feel comfortable and natural in working with her. She was also great at interacting with our families, but knew exactly how to coordinate the chaos to capture family portraits the day of the wedding.
We also really appreciated how detailed, organized, and reliable Rachel was. Our engagement and wedding photos both came back perfectly edited in a very timely fashion. She provided constant communication leading up to the wedding and even attended a walk-​through at the venue the week before the wedding.
Our photos are amazing and we look forward to treasuring them for many years to come. We couldn’t be more happy that we chose to work with Rachel and we can’t recommend her highly enough!

From the moment I fatefully stumbled across her photos on the web, I was in love with Rachel Havel’s work, her vision, and her spirit and knew I wanted her to be my wedding photographer. She was so professional and kind from the moment I contacted her and she is genuinely a wonderful person down to her core which is reflected in her interactions with everyone around her and her beautiful photos.
Rachel is a true professional and methodically and naturally gets to know her clients to assist her in photographing them. Our initial conversation was over Skype since we were in New York and she was in Colorado and it was like we were talking to an old friend! And up until our wedding day she had us complete a couple of questionnaires (that are fun to fill out!) I thought this was such a great detailed touch and got me so excited for our wedding day.
On the day of our wedding, she was so great getting our family and guests together to pose for photos and was so nice and natural with everyone. She gave me, a horribly non-​photogenic person, great cues throughout her shooting to get me more comfortable and natural. Rachel also took so many beautiful photos of the details from our wedding that I wasn’t able to notice with all the mayhem. Finally, she captured so many great moments from our family and guests — the looks on their faces and their emotions were so raw and natural and I am so grateful that she was there to photograph them!
Her photos were ready within 3 weeks after the wedding which was so incredibly fast. Her picture viewing site is also very convenient to browse through and well organized.
I am so so happy that she was our wedding photographer and thought she captured one of the most important days of my life perfectly! I’m so glad I get to have these photos forever. I’ve been looking through them over and over again for days ever since I got them from her!
